Looks like they are still there but never tried their pizza...we always went to Papalis.  Definite bummer.

yeah it is. My visits in Detroit are usually for music festivals at Hart Plaza. Most days we would head to the casino for a bathroom break and cool off (would play some slots to not cause an issue) and then head to Greektown or Bricktown for food.

Pizzapopolis had great deep dish. Nikky's was good modestly priced diner food, or you could get some greek/ middle eastern favorites.

I still don't see how they get all the players, coaches, staff out of that mess in Hamburg/OP and on the road to catch a plane tomorrow afternoon.

There not behind enemy lines.  Beane said even if they can't get out tomorrow, they will early Sunday morning.

They will do it.

Wo, that's a mess.

Especially seeing as the snow is still coming down, I'm going to suggest there is no way they could have gotten that stadium prepared for a game at 1pm on Sunday.

I recall Pittsburgh flying out the same day of a game during the Covid wackiness. But it was a night game at KC.  Huge difference from flying out the morning of a 1pm game. They would have to move the starting time.

My point is they will get to the game.  It will be fun to hear all the stories on how they got there.

I'm sure the pregame will be fun to watch!

Pegula's should of went the "City of Domes" route.  We could have had Carousel after the games!

That kinda reminds me of Minneapolis! Those folks rarely have to go outside downtown in the winter, and for good reason! Why is it that is the location of the only Super Bowl I’ve ever been to? It’s like the World Cup in summer in Qatar, why didn’t somebody realize that was a bad idea BEFORE signing up for the deal?

EDIT: That was in the OLD stadium in Minneapolis and that place was a dump! I’d love to see a game, any game, in their new stadium. Even in the winter.
