Did you watch the Carolina game.  He looked as bad as previous years.  Dont understand why he’s on the team

He’s on the team because there’s familiarity…and there’s nobody else behind him. He didn’t so much earn the spot as he did sort of fall into it by default. They got value in return for a 2nd rd bust and Mancz struggled with health. I’m not even sure who else to mention.

I’m really bummed about Tre. Not that he’s not ready, as a PUP-er, he can’t even practice for the 4 weeks. Perhaps the brass was as hopeful as I was, having stated several times ‘he’s on course, he’s looking very good, we’re just waiting on the med staff to give us the OK’. Now? It seems we won’t see him til at least after the Bye -missing ALL of what’s considered the toughest part of our schedule.
Dane Jackson and rookies?? 🤦‍♂️ Devastating.

A good training regimen and a well established vet like tre? Should be fine imo. I'm one of the folks who thinks they hold him out 5 games so that he can practice for 2 weeks (including the bye week).

We’ll be ok…it’s one of the reasons we drafted Elam in round 1…

Agreed. I asked about this couple posts earlier. Doesn't make sense based on everything we heard during camp. Backup center, looked like lock, injury was supposed to be minor. Really curious what is going on.

I suppose he could be a "wait in the car park" deal if Doyle is going on IR today but the fact he wasn't at practice yesterday makes me think maybe not.

Same, who's the backup C? Bates?

Or Van Roten possibly?

When does the practice Squad come out?

I think the released players who are not vested veterans have to go through the waiver wire before wishing to re-sign with the Bills to the PS.

The vested veterans can decide to do it right away; assuming they are not getting offers to be part of the 53-man roster of other teams.

Day after the night before (in the U.K. at least) and still baffled by a handful of the choices. I guess we’ll have to see how the next couple of days pan out with pick up free agents and those on waivers but the cutting of Howard and Mancz bothers me the most, as they’re better than who we have kept - not that that’s saying much in terms of Howard!

I’m hopeful than Mancz might be down to roster tinkering so we can put someone on IR, and we’ll sign him back today; or at least get another Centre through the door. Same, if I’m honest, at TE. Dodson’s social media post, if legitimate, may be unprofessional but it appears accurate for now.

What was Dodson's social media post? I'm too lazy to look it up.

Yep. Normally start to see PS signings about 48 hours after.

A bummer no doubt, but we need him healthy for the REAL toughest part of our schedule which starts in mid January.

I agree with holding him out until the Packers but to me depends on our record and where the Chiefs stand as well. I’m expecting 5-0 by that date.  Depends on positional play too.
