Amazing that the Colts got out from underneath. Smart move by our AFC counterpart, and yet another terrible move from an NFC team.

smart except what they gave up to get Wentz. All that and no playoffs or QB....and no 1st round pick this year. Let's not praise them too much

Another interesting domino to fall and you wonder what the Colts are up to at QB now because that is a team and roster that can can compete for a championship now.

Also is Wentz really going to be an upgrade over Heineke? He's really the same type of player (i.e. inconsistent and turnover prone).

But can they beat the Jaguars on the road?

I give them the most credit for being so quick to realize the mistake and cut bait. So many NFL guys would stubbornly stick with it and go down with that ship.

Tasker all freaked out Trubisky goes to Colts now. No idea why.

That's a possibility.   Somebody on NFL Now suggested that if they don't want to wait on seeing how Garoppalo comes out of his surgery.  The idea is that with their OL and running game, all they need is a game manager, and Trubisky is available.

Also need to be careful with these thread titles. Nobody can be traded until the beginning of the new league year and a team can decide to cancel this agreed upon but unexecuted trade at any point in time up until that point.

In other words, nothing is certain, they have just reached an agreement but as we all know, teams back out of agreements all the time.

I'm not a GM but I knew it was a mistake as soon as they traded for him, but yes good move finding someone to take him quickly
