Nobody in his right mind would leave the Bills offense and Josh Allen to work with Jones. You get a throwaway year evaluating DJ, if he sucks, you can pivot to a new QB. Dolphins are still in on Tua and probably will be for 2 more years. The reality is Josh always had it in him to throw accurately. It was he, with the help of Jordan Palmer, who worked hard to make himself consistently be able to do it.
