Are we built to win at home?

Agreed.  First time getting punched in the mouth on defense all year.

Or at least since the Tennessee game. The difference being Tennessee wasn't getting it done on defense either, until that last play, so the game didn't seem as lopsided.

The Bills have not been consistent about running the ball, nor have they been as effective at stopping teams with elite running backs.  Running is easier to do in foul weather.  I expect Beane and McDermott are going to take steps to try an improve their ability to run and stop the run in the off season, but this season what we see is what we've got.

I think Josh, Receivers, and the Bills D is built for December/January Buffalo weather. The current running backs are not. (The O-Line is not built for ANY weather). Bills need to address the RB's next year. If the game is played in (Very) cold/windy weather, I still think it's Bills advantage. Forget this dome talk. The state won't (And shouldn't) pay for the extra $400+M. The Bills need to tweak the lineup to be a better bad weather team next year. Buffalo with a dome would be a travesty. (They might as well move to Toronto). Don't recall the Steelers - Browns - Patriots - Packers - Broncos - Eagles - Jets/Giants - Bengals - Seahawks - Bears - Ravens etc. fans or owners ever clamor or even consider a dome, and those cities have MUCH more wealth, Fortune 500 Companies, and higher average population incomes than Buffalo. The Vikings went to 5 SB's outdoors when they were built for the weather, nothing since. The Lions have won nothing since moving indoors. Only ONE dome team has won a SB! Ever attend an indoor NFL game? It's arena ball, It sucks. Give it up.

I’ve been thinking about this too and have been wondering to myself, what traits, skills or abilities, or game strategy beyond the obvious - run the ball - are good for football in sloppy, cold, snowy, stormy weather. I’m really not sure. Only universal thing I came up with is big hands on the offensive skill position players to hold onto a slippery ball, a strong armed QB and an offensive line that can block for run and pass. What else is needed?

We're built to win anywhere... when the weather is nice.

If the weather is nasty as it was against the Colts, we don't have the running game.

This is where Beane deserves blame. Its absolutely crazy that the Bills who play their home games outside aren't built for cold weather and nasty conditions.

This^^^; we saw playoff shootouts in bad weather at home, with say, Danny Marino on the other side or some other 90’s greats—and that was on frozen Astro turf no less!

Yes they did but they also had a much better OL then this group. They could also run the ball very well with Thomas. These Bills don't have that.

Good teams and QB's will win games no matter what the conditions are and we drafted a big armed physical QB specifically to win inclement weather games in Nov/Dec.

Anybody that believes different is just making excuses for bad QB play and inept coaching which has been a major issue for this team this season and even in years past under this regime.
