An ugly win is better then a beautiful loss

Agreed.  A lot to worry about here but...no matter how you get there it's a win, against the Pats.  6-2, 4-0 in the AFC East, and far fewer "The last time Buffalo..." lines going forward.  Wasn't pretty, but I'm gonna celebrate the hell outta it.

Yup, if you have a lot of worries it's better to be 6-2, 4-0 than 2-6, 0-4! There's time to figure it out :)

Playoffs start early for us, Dolphins at Bills January 3rd for the Division title.

Bills need to not have that game matter hopefully enter that game with 10 or 11 wins and Miami enters in with 8. I think getting a split in the next 2 games is critical. If the Bills can get to 7-3 going into that very winnable Chargers game then I think the Bills can get to 11 wins.

Looking ahead of you split the next 2 and win against the Chargers you are sitting at 8-3. You have a toss up game against the 49ers and a tough game against the Steelers. You split those and you sit at 9-4 going into a pair of favorable games against the Broncos and Pats. You win those you get to 11-4 and then you have the Fins.

I tend to believe you never have to apologize for a win in the NFL.  One can argue Cam tried to aggressively run with the ball late in the game because the Pats/Belichick thought they might not have won the game in OT.

Look I'm far from a Bills homer and realize the team is nowhere near the KC's/Baltimore's/Pittsburgh's of the conference in terms of being a complete team.  Still finally beating the Patriots in a meaningful game and becoming a shoe in to win the AFC East feels pretty good.

The team can improve, the record gives us a tiny cushion.
The sky is not falling despite some of our posters having little temper tantrums.
At the end of the day the stats don’t matter, how much we win by don’t matter, and how bad we think we should beat teams down don’t matter. 6-2

Not quite a shoe-in with Miami just 1 1/2 back...

I didn't even think it was ugly. It was a good game. Both teams came to play. The Pats were desperate to save their season and we shut them down.

Bungles took down titans. Every week is a battle.

Good teams win more than they lose.

Today the Bills were a good team

So much negativity on this board no matter whether the Bills win or lose. I’m just happy they won and, though I know this is not a flawless team, I’m happy that they are our team and that they are six and two. It must be next to debilitating to constantly be looking at the bad side. Let the coaches and management do that and spend the week happy that the Bills lead the AFC East.

We'll win the Superbowl and fans will complain that the defense gave up a 3rd and 12.

It's pretty annoying.

Not sure I agree.

I wanna win but this team is just so ***** boring to watch.

I could use many words to describe them, several quite negative, but boring?  This team makes and surrenders many big plays, and most of their games come down to the wire.

The Tyrod years were boring.  This is anything but.
