Steve Smith will not let other person talk which does not support his argument.  Let him speak and speak your counterpoint.

Sure, roger

Their partner, the NFLPA, should be involved but they are not.

Never any criticism but we have seen owners criticize other owners.

I mean the guy he was arguing with was basically saying if the Broncos O-line had blocked better it wouldn't of been a problem. I mean that's true but at the same what does that have to do with the Gregg's defense taking cheapshots at the QB when they get the chance?

I could not hear well enough what he was saying over Steve Smith.

And Steve Smith could have said it after he spoke and make a strong case.

I was listening to this last night while cruising TBD. My recollection is that Joe Thomas had already said his piece (which sounded ridiculous to me).

I did not watch the entire game but what I saw was appalling and completely consistent with his defenses. Truly grotesque.

The days of Lambert playing with a broken leg, Alzado trying to literally maim people and (as mentioned in another thread) Conrad Dobler trying to inflict bodily harm are over.

How about this, Greg: teach players discipline and your system and let them play within the bounds of the rules?

What an a** hat.

The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if the undisciplined thuggery isn't the Jets chosen method of tanking their season? The Dolphins started out last year by selling off all their best players, and installing Josh Rosen under center with less protection than he had in Arizona. Eventually, the NFL competition committee got involved. These Jets seem to be losing by utterly undisciplined coaching, and sheer thuggery. Eleven penalties for -118 yards, including six personal fouls, and giving the Broncos seven first downs, and clearly giving them the lead. Pretty crappy way to lose, but harder for the competition committee to call out.

Yeah... I’m no doctor but throwing with a sprained shoulder could probably lead to a torn rotator cuff or blowing out your arm.. Boy, the Jets could have really ruined Darnold’s career there..

I think he's working on that pretty well himself without help lol

Even against the Bills, we could see a few questionable hits, and the camera chosen by the TV crew immediately was the one on him. His reputation is way too well known. Why the hell is he still in the league? It's almost disgusting, really.

As a player, you can surely justify playing for a cheater that wins like Bellichick... but for a guy that wants you to injure others? On losing teams no less? Not so sure...

Nah, it was a dumb thing to say and I wish Steve had actually not allowed him to talk at all.

Steve Smith should STFU because he can barely bring together a cogent argument.

Sorry.  He may or may not be a decent human being.  I'm trying not to judge people in general.  Oh wait.. this is not in my head, it's on a message board..?

<<*****>>

Why ??? Steve Smith had to deal with this BS twice a year ( while playing for the Panthers) and he’s telling you that players had to apologize to him for late hits because IF NOT that POS/Williams would fine them ,

And after watching last night game I’m sure that brought back  some of those memories and it pissed him off !!

Does anyone have a linky up of this yet?

Steve Smith comments link? Go up about 12 posts, or so. Or do you mean a link to the "hard hits"?

Conspiracy theory seems like a leap to me to me. But I'm not familiar with how the NFL competition committee got involved in the Dolphins 'tank' last year. Never heard that one before. Did the NFL competition committee force a change of QB or improve the QB protection?

I'm not sure what Adam Gase has done
