The Message Is Loud And Clear: Comply Or Be Destroyed

How some can't deal with disagreement

Critical race theory isn’t really a theory. It’s an idea some crackpot academic cooked up to try and justify the fact that they and so many of the folks they knew growing up didn’t amount to as much as they believed they should have.

The real world is tough, but critical race theory gives black men and women an easy out. They don’t get ahead because the deck is stacked against them.

M, but who cares about them, right?

Yet critical race theory is now being treated like it’s a scientific fact. No dissent with the theory is tolerated. Hell, it’s worse than anthropogenic global warming. While people may think you’re an awful person for not believing mankind is behind climate change—even if you’re someone who thinks it’s real, just not caused by man—at least no one is trying to get your life completely destroyed.

The sad part of all this IMHO is they are telling their children they can't make it of they are not white.  And, they are listening.

A few Yeats back I was teaching drum lessons at an inner city school. I heard one black kid tell a white kid that he wasn't going  to make it cuz he was black whereas as the other kid would cuz he had white privilege.  These were 10 year old kids.

Telling your children they can't make it is one of the worst thing a parent can do to a child.

This is not what BillZtime "feels" it is.

After posing for the camera, the unidentified woman responded, saying, “I’m not a Nazi. I’m trying to show you what’s going to happen in America. If you vote for (Joe) Biden you’re gonna be in Nazi Germany. That’s what it’s going to be like.”

The unidentified man wearing the swastika face covering can be heard saying, “We’re living under a socialist state.”

https://nbcpalmsprings.com/2020/07/27/walmart-bans-couple-wearing-swastika-on-their-face-coverings/

It is incredibly poor judgement, and just plain old asinine thinking by these two.

BUT, Billzy wants you to connect Trump with Nazis........................which is even worse judgement.

You would have thought that he would check to see about the picture that he uses very often (as with all his private collection)

Before he used it............but that is asking too much of him.

P.S.: He is limited in his responses, so I am sure he will just go with "See, B-Man defends Nazis"......even though the news story clears that up.

First I have no idea if these people have children or not and neither do you unless these are friends of yours.  If they do, probably bad things. But I fail to see how it applies to what I posted.

But think about it. If these 2 people indeed do have kids they will have corrupted only 2 to 3 people.  CRT proponents such as yourself on the other hand want to teach ALL kids that you can only make it if you are white and sadly many will believe it as the 10 year old boy I was referring to in my post.

And where can this 'CRT bible' be found?

I may have been speaking in hyperbole somewhat.  But I did point to a real world case where a 10 year old boy made that conclusion.  I suspect that when a child hears over and over that white people have "privilege" and can do anything whereas blacks are as oppressed now as they have been for the last 402 years a kid could reach such a conclusion.

I'm sure this is probably not the intent but often things have unintended consequences.  I suspect this could be one with teaching CRT in schools which would exacerbate the problem.

Do you think it would be possible for a child to come to this conclusion.  If not, why not?

I have heard one child express this and doubt he is the only one.

That's my point - ask your friends where this so called CRT bible is - they're the ones passing laws against it...

So, do you think he hears it or sees it?  Both?

I see so many times the word FEELINGS or "FEELZ" mentioned around here... but the whitewash crowd insists we censor and sugar coat what happened - out of worrying what a child might FEEL. Can they make up their minds?

You are the one that mentioned CRT Bible.  I'm not asking anyone else about it.

I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at in the red question. If I understand correctly I'm sure he will/does see racism. He lives on earth after all.

If you can find a post where I have used the words "FEELING" or "FEELZ" I'll address it.

But I do think what a child Believes about his/her chances of making it in world will have big effects as to how their life experience goes.

I do also think kids should be taught history in school including slavery/civil war/Jim Crow etc.

Clearly ignorant people to use the star of David to make a political point. The point they are trying to make is completely obliterated by the lack of awareness, just like comparing showing ID to Jim Crow laws. The difference few defend the hats while many are dumb enough to believe the Jim Crow.

You need to change your name to the Fonz because you completely jumped the shark there.

One has statistics to show it disproportionally affects one race over another. The other is well this, which is just terrible.

Can you show me the stat that shows in the 21st century showing minorities have a harder time getting an ID than whites? Jim Crow was horrendous and an ID is something that literally every adult I know has one. 90% of my 18 year old students have legal IDs.

Why do minorities have fewer IDs?

Because a lot of minorities don’t have much use for them. The most common voter ID is a driver’s license, and minorities are less likely to drive. A 2007 study found that in California, New Mexico, and Washington, whites were more likely to have driver’s licenses than nonwhites. In Orange County, Calif., about 92 percent of white voters had driver’s licenses, compared with only 84 percent of Latino voters and 81 percent of “other” voters. A 2005 study of Wisconsin similarly found that while about 80 percent of white residents had licenses, only about half of African-American and Hispanic residents had licenses.

Quick one there. Republicans can’t make laws directly discriminatory but they can make laws that target minorities. For example, look at the NC gerrymandering case. They didn’t say hey we’re trying to to discriminate against people of color. Instead they used stats to gerrymander districts to disenfranchise black voters while helping Republican white voters.

You did not answer the question asked because you can't answer it honestly. You instead tried to make a different point with the wrong reason again. Minorities can get an ID as easily as whites, gerrymandering is to help the party in power, and you quoted stats without a source because you know that it is garbage. But to go back to the original point, you are arguing minorites choosing to not get an ID is the equivalent of being denied it, which is where you and I differ greatly.

Not very much, because of how friggin stupid they are.  Unfortunately, these are the same type of morons who believe that Antifa wants to come and burn their hovels.  And the same dopes who believe that if they do a few shots of fish tank cleaner and liberally apply Roundup to their lungs they can beat that hoaxy thing called COVID.

"[T]he captain asked that 'all able-bodied men please come to the front of the plane for an emergency... basically every man on the plane stepped up....'"

Said one passenger, quoted in "Delta passengers and crew subdue off-duty flight attendant on Atlanta-bound flight" (CNN). Newsweek quotes the pilot saying: "We'd like all strong males to come to the front of the aircraft to handle a problem passenger."

That's what happens in a true emergency, even today, with all our aspirations of gender equality. A passenger went wild and threatened to bring down the plane, and the standard of who must act now was: "all strong males." And just about all the men stepped up.

We do understand that, however much we minimize discussion of that aspect of reality.

https://citizenfreepress.com/breaking/nickelodeon-ratings-crash/

Since July of 2017, Nickelodeon’s viewership has dropped from 1.3 million average viewers per week to a June of 2021 average of only 372,000. In only four years, Nickelodeon has dropped more than two thirds of its audience. That is catastrophically bad for the cable channel, but with cable on the way out, maybe it’s not so bad? The catch here is that it is, in fact, that bad and perhaps worse, simply because Nickelodeon seems to be the primary driving force behind new subscribers to Paramount.

Welcome to the next Pandemic!

Vaccinated Hawaiian resident tests positive for Delta coronavirus variant

Hawaii's health director called it a 'very rare breakthrough case'

Hawaiian health officials said Monday that a fully vaccinated resident who traveled to Nevada last month has since tested positive for the Delta coronavirus variant.

The resident, who lives in Oahu, tested negative for COVID-19 before departing Nevada but developed mild symptoms several days after returning home.

The resident, whose age and sex were not disclosed, isolated after testing positive and close contacts began quarantining. No secondary transmission has been reported.

The state's health director called it a "very rare breakthrough" case.

https://www.foxnews.com/health/vaccinated-hawaiian-positive-delta-variant

Why?  Aren't we being told it's resistant to the vaccines that don't even prevent you from getting Covid?

Sounds like the vaccine was effective. He just got a mild case and didn't give it to anyone else.

Commentary: The Music Man is the wrong Broadway revival for this crucial moment.

Ultimately, “The Music Man” sets forth a sanitized, insular and very white America — a vision regularly exploited by a recent president (who gained a following with scare tactics and sold a “think system” of his own) to stoke racial fears and pit Americans against one another. It asks audiences to cheer for yet another romanticized fraud.

“The Music Man” is selling tickets while the culture is calling for corrective lenses on such white-centered visions of American history and protesting in the streets for a new vision of modern American life. The same is true of the theater industry itself, as actors and arts workers marched for a more inclusive, equitable and anti-racist workplace.

It is highly unlikely that this revival will question its source material, as Daniel Fish’s “Oklahoma!” did; most recent restagings of “classics” instead attempt to reframe problematic plots as updates. Not that every Broadway offering needs to address real-world issues, but it’s concerning when productions not only turn away from society’s exposed ills but also inherently reinforce them for, as Horton said, “the widest possible audience.” In the words of Harold Hill himself, it’s “trouble with a capital T.”

Really glad to see the L.A. Times focusing on the big issues America faces in 2021 — “problematic” (read: beloved) Broadway musical revivals. As to why, in February, PJM’s David Goldman, aka “Spengler,” (certainly an appropriate nom de plume here) explored: Mediocrity’s Envy of Genius: The Dirty Secret of Cancel Culture.

I make it a point not to get involved in these culture war things.

But ... really:

https://www.vulture.com/2021/06/billie-eilish-apologizes-on-instagram-for-racist-language.html

Billie Eilish mouthing along to words by Tyler, The Creator when she was about 13 or 14, including a slur against Chinese (Tyler non-Creatively rhymes it with "drink"). Billie falling all over herself apologizing.

And Tyler? The guy who wrote (and spoke) the slur Billie mimics? Nobody is calling him out.

Google "Tyler the creator racist" and you get a bunch of results about Billie Eilish, some results about Tyler calling the Grammy Awards racist for creating an "urban" category, and non at all about Tyler saying something racist 10 years ago, in a song that tons of young people have listened to (I know; I've got teenagers).

I keep thinking we will hit Peak Stupid and that will be a turning point. Maybe we're there?

[by the way, I don't think either Eilish or Tyler are racists. I'm not saying Tyler should be canceled. I'm definitely not his target demographic, but like I said my household exposes me to some things I ordinarily wouldn't be exposed to, and I gotta say he's seems like a clever guy with a good sense of humor. But dude, come to Billie's defense here! It's on you]
