So far this year, there have been countless instances of companies changing the overall direction of certain products (as with some police shows on TV), or at the very least their names or logos, in response to the unrest around the country.

Here’s one I saw this morning:

What do you think overall?   Good idea / bad idea?  Will this go a long way in solving the systematic racism that is so prevalent in all parts of American society?

I've heard that Churchill said a long long time ago that "A nation that forgets its past has no future" which i believe is very true ! How do we expect to learn from the mistakes of the past if they erase it ?

Not to mention that by implementing a Divide & conquer type mentality keeping every one against each other fighting there will never be any progress made so if we continue in the fashion that the country has been and allow Antifa and other popular movements to continue the way it has the path the country is on will be & is heading in a bad direction because no one is listening or having good dialect towards the change they want .

Lawlessness & disorder can not bring positive change if there isn't some common sense discussion along with sensible actions from those that truly want change and until then nothing will be resolved ...

Never. Great WHITE Sharks racially profile and systematically oppress sea life of color by eating them. Therefore, they should be called out for what they are - WHITE - as their WHITE privilege is recognized and shamed.

WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG?

It’s great news,  that the Trump administration has issued a memorandum barring all federal agencies from “training” their employees in critical race theory or white privilege.

However, it’s fair to ask why such a memorandum was issued so late in President Trump’s first term. As the memorandum notes, “executive branch agencies have spent millions of taxpayer dollars to date ‘training’ government workers to believe divisive, anti-American propaganda.” Why didn’t the administration put an end to it more promptly?

I don’t think Trump is to blame. He can’t be expected to know what kind of training is being performed by the various agencies. The memorandum implies that the noxious training programs in question didn’t come to his attention until recently, and I assume that’s the case.

Cabinet members aren’t to blame either, at least not directly. There’s no reason why they should occupy themselves reviewing employee training programs. They have bigger fish to fry.

However, I would expect some of the political appointees below the agency head level to get wind of the training being offered their employees. And I would think it’s the responsibility of political appointees at the Office of Management and Budget, which issued the memorandum halting the radical training, to know about this. After all, as the memorandum states, millions of taxpayer dollars have been spent indoctrinating federal employees on how inherently “racist” America is.

The problem, I believe, is that even many solid conservatives aren’t conversant with modern “leftism.” They don’t understand the contemporary left’s theoretical underpinnings, the full nature of its anti-Americanism, and the extent of its insidiousness. Moreover, they are preoccupied with day-to-day policy matters and, in many cases, dealing with resistance from career government employees.

Fortunately, I think conservatives are starting to understand the left. We are beginning to wake up. Unfortunately, if Biden and the Democrats come to power, the awakening will be rude.

President Trump orders federal agencies to stop spending money on training employees on critical race theory and white privilege

We’ve featured the work of Christopher F. Rufo, director of the Discovery Institute’s Center on Wealth and Poverty, a couple of times on Twitchy. At first, he was passing along leaked documents from U.S. Treasury Department diversity training that insisted that white employees “struggle to own their racism” and accept their “unconscious bias, White privilege, and White fragility.” Teaching the course was Howard J. Ross, who has billed the federal government $5 million for diversity training over the past 15 years.

Next, Rufo helped uncover training at Sandia National Laboratories, the country’s premier nuclear research lab. There he received leaked documents about a three-day reeducation camp for white males, with the goal of exposing their “white privilege” and deconstructing “white male culture.”

Last week, Rufo received leaked documents from FBI workshops on intersectionality.

Trump daring Democrats to defend ‘critical race theory’ and 1619 project as he moves to suspend indoctrination in schools and govt. agencies

by Thomas Lifson

Original Article

Democrats have made implicit promises to the radicals whose active support they need that they will back aggressive compulsory brainwashing sessions demonizing Caucasians and the American founding as fundamentally and inherently racist. A memorandum from OMB director Russell Vought 3 days ago began the pushback and laid a trap for them

(snip)

Yesterday, President Trump upped the ante by taking on California’s adoption of the inaccurate 1619 Project curriculum designed to instill hatred and resentment of the country

IS CRITICAL RACE TRAINING ILLEGAL?

It may well be, if inflicted on a company’s or government agency’s employees. In July, the City of Seattle required employees to attend training on “Internalized Racial Superiority for White People.” Last week, U.S. Civil Rights Commissioner Peter Kirsanow wrote a letter to Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan, which is embedded below. Kirsanow questioned the legality of the City’s “training” program under federal civil rights law:

This training likely violated Title VII’s prohibition against segregating employees by race. As a refresher, Title VII states:

It shall be an unlawful employment practice for an employer . . . to limit, segregate, or classify his employees or applicants for employment in any way which would deprive or tend to deprive any individual of employment opportunities or otherwise adversely affect his status as an employee, because of such individual’s race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

There’s no exception in Title VII that says, “unless you have good intentions.” Rather, it provides that you may not segregate an individual by race in any way which would tend to adversely affect that person’s status as an employee. I know. I had to check twice myself. Segregation is still prohibited in 2020. Amazing.

You should read the whole letter. One gets the impression that Peter has about had it with liberal racism.

IS CRITICAL RACE TRAINING ILLEGAL? (PART 2)

I noted here that U.S. Civil Rights Commissioner Peter Kirsanow has written to the Mayor of the City of Seattle, suggesting that “critical race theory” or “white privilege” training that the city recently imposed on its employees likely violates Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits employment discrimination based on race. Paul added that the Department of Justice has also sought information about the same training sessions from Seattle, on the same ground. Seattle’s “white privilege” training was no different from what many companies and units of government have inflicted on their employees, and if it was illegal–as I think it was–the illegality is widespread.

Last week at Liberty Unyielding, Hans Bader applied federal law to the case of Sandia Labs:

“Last year, Sandia National Laboratories — which designs America’s nuclear weapons — hosted a” segregated “3-day reeducation camp for ‘white males,’ with the goal of exposing their ‘white privilege’ and deconstructing ‘white male culture.’” So reports the Manhattan Institute’s Christopher Rufo.

The details are sickening:

In the opening session, trainers demanded that the men make a list of associations about white male culture. The trainers wrote “white supremacists,” “KKK,” “Aryan Nation,” “MAGA hat,” “privileged,” and “mass killings.” Afterwards, white male employees were told to expose the “roots of white male culture,” which consists of “rugged individualism,” “a can-do attitude,” “hard work,” and “striving towards success” — which sound good, but are in fact “devastating” to women and people of color, according to the trainers, a company called “White Men as Full Diversity Partners.”

The whole thing is reminiscent of the Red Guards:

In a subsequent session, the white males were forced to publicly recite a series of “white privilege statements” and “male privilege statements.” They had to accept their alleged complicity in creating oppression of women and people of color. At the end of the training, the white males had to “write letters ‘directed to white women, people of color, and other groups’” in which they “apologize for their ‘privilege.’”

Dan Brouillette, Secretary of Energy, has asked the Inspector General to investigate Sandia’s “white privilege” training, but “Rufo says Sandia executives have only accelerated their purge against conservatives.”

One brave Sandia employee, an electrical engineer named Casey Peterson, stood up against Sandia’s racist regime. He emailed 16,000 Sandia employees, protesting against the imposition of critical race theory. He also published a video that was critical of the company’s “white privilege” training on YouTube. In response, “Sandia executives placed Peterson on paid administrative leave and established a ‘security review board’ to ‘evaluate whether [his] actions have comprised or posed a threat to Sandia computing and security systems.'”

Hans argues that Peterson’s suspension may violate Title VII and another federal statute:

The suspension of Peterson might violate the anti-retaliation provisions of at least two civil-rights laws, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and 42 USC 1981.

Peterson’s video opposes racist scapegoating that a reasonable employee could view as racial harassment, and seems to oppose race-based hiring.
***

{snip}

Someday, the federal courts may drive a stake through the harassment of, and discrimination against, white and male employees that have become common in today’s workplace. (Of course, that isn’t likely to happen if Joe Biden wins in November.) If you live in the Upper Midwest and believe you have been discriminated against by mandatory “white privilege” or anti-male training imposed by your employer or former employer, I recommend that you contact the Upper Midwest Law Center at 612.428.7000.

To be eligible for best picture, a film must meet at least two standards across four categories: “Onscreen Representation, Themes and Narratives,” “Creative Leadership and Project Team,” “Industry Access and Opportunities” and “Audience Development.” Within each category are a variety of criteria involving the inclusion of people in underrepresented groups, including women, people of color, LGBTQ+ people and those with cognitive or physical disabilities.

...

Previously, the only standards to qualify for best picture involved a film’s running time (over 40 minutes) and specifics about how, where and when it’s screened in a public venue.

The new standards will not go into effect until the 96th Oscars in 2024. But at a time of racial reckoning both for Hollywood and the nation as a whole, the academy believes the requirements provide a road map for how the industry can ensure that at least those films that compete for its highest honor reflect the diversity of the moviegoing audience and the wider world.

Just when you think that Leftists can't get any more insane:

Quote

According to bio-archaeologist Gregor Larson, the domestication of dogs started in 2 places: Eastern and Western Eurasia. The Eurasian people worked non stop to gain and maintain the trust with these gorgeous creatures, but it was all stolen from them.

The greedy actions by white people stained the history books forever.

...

Shortly after the Eurasian people worked so hard to train and bond with wolves, most of them were shipped off and given to Europeans.

These filthy white savages took the work and credit from the Eurasian people and branded these magnificent creatures as their own.

...

Honestly speaking, we shouldn’t be surprised that white people would steal the domestication of dogs as well.

...

If you are white and own a dog, you are openly participating and advocating for cultural appropriation and colonialism. Reinforcing this culture is NOT acceptable and will come with its repercussions.

Dogs are and always will be the living reminder of how tainted our history is as a whole. POC deserve to exclusively own dogs as a form of restitution for their stolen ancestor’s work. Supporting the idea of white dog ownership is spitting on the grave of past POC generations.

...

If you are white and own a canine, please consider donating them to a local POC family or non kill shelter so it can truly find the perfect home.

HE’S RIGHT. IT’S EXPLICITLY AND OPENLY RACIST.

President Trump Targets ‘White Privilege’ Training in Federal Agencies as ‘Anti-American.’

Trump Bans Critical Race Theory Training in Federal Agencies.

USA TODAY: Listen to science, my fellow Democrats: Diversity training does not cure bias and racism.

But here’s what almost nobody on the left would admit: As best we can tell, these interventions don’t make people less biased or racist. After dutifully quoting Fox News’ attacks on the trainings, The Washington Post reported that “other experts” say diversity trainings “are essential steps in helping rectify the pervasive racial inequities in American society.”

But the lone “expert” it cited was an attorney named M.E. Hart, who — surprise! — gives diversity trainings himself. The Post noted several studies showing that federal contracts are disproportionately awarded to white-owned businesses. Diversity trainings will help federal employers to overcome their biases and “see each other as human beings,” Hart said.

I wish he was right. Racism and discrimination are real and destructive forces in our country. And if diversity training made us less likely to think or act in racist ways, I’d be foursquare behind it.

Alas, the great bulk of evidence suggests the opposite. Analyzing more than 800 companies that used diversity trainings over three decades, sociologists Frank Dobbin and Alexandra Kalev found that improvements fostered by the trainings were rare and short-lived. More commonly, diversity training reinforced precisely the negative behaviors it was designed to reduce. . . .

It’s not hard to see why. When people feel pressured into acting or thinking a certain way, they often recoil. Even more, instructing people that racism is everywhere in our society can actually normalize it in their own minds, making them less inspired to take action against it.

Science is real. Follow the science.

When you run out of food, you start eating your own.  This is emblematic of the insanity that's unchecked.

A Montclair middle school principal was removed from his post late Wednesday after he showed a video at a staff convocation that attendees called offensive.

Renaissance Middle School Principal Joseph Putrino, during his morning presentation at the annual "welcome back" event, conducted via Zoom, showed a video of a Black man yelling about virtual learning and the difficulties of home-schooling his children.

During Putrino's presentation, several staff members posted on the Zoom chat that they were offended, and the video was stopped, according to a report in Baristanet.

Afterward, Superintendent Jonathan Ponds sent an email to staff apologizing for the video. "Like many of you, I was offended by the content. Please know that this unfortunate incident is not a reflection of the inclusivity of our district and our ideals. We are handling this matter internally."

To add perspective, here's the offending video:

It's funny to me that the wacky zebras, csections and Kemps of the world are so incredibly unhinged that they don't even know who they're shooting at any more. They're so wound up they make Joe Biden sound coherent.

Yes. It's funny. Until football starts, it's the best sport around.
