I'm genuinely surprised by people being upset with getting a kicker. We've got a great roster and it's the sixth round ffs! Be happy, we're no longer having to convince ourselves that John McCargo and Aaron Maybin are smart picks as we try to pretend the rest of the league isn't laughing at us.

I'm excited enough about this pick that I flew through this thread and didn't even register disappointment lol. Screw em. I'm gonna be happy.

He is an official member of the gang of six,  that mighty group of permanently disgruntled supposed Bills fans, to get in to this club ya gotta complain about pretty much anything the Bills do as an organization, all the time, Great isn’t it... 😁👍

I suspect 1 or 2 of them are actually fans of other AFC East teams.

He is 23. Was he red-shirted?

I think he was and his true first year with college he just did kick offs and some extra points

People who keep quoting the 50 yard career long as a negative clearly haven't watched any of his highlights (many of which other have kindly posted in this thread, cheers guys!). Most of the field goals he made looked to be in the 40-45 yard range and could have easily cleared the bar from 50-55 yards out. Joe Marino also posted his Senior Bowl kick where he hits the left post halfway up from 58 yards out. It's also noticeable how much of a rainbow effect his kicks have, I'd say they'll be very difficult to block.

Sky isn't falling is my point, looks like we got a good one.

the one clip of him nailing a 50 hit the top of the net behind the upright

Not Punter

The punter from ASU is an absolute stud, and I’m hoping we go in for him in the 7th.

Wonder if the kid from Syracuse is a wink-wink priority UDFA

Bass is Kiper's K1? FWIW

Well our new kicker has never hit a fg over 50 yards, soo...

Good accuracy, strong leg.  There is more than 1 stat on a sheet.

Waste of a pick

Of course. They should have picked a starting WR/CB/OT here!!!

Christ. It's the 6th round. A kicker has a better chance of helping this team than just about any other position.

Yeah.

I hate drafting guys who will make the roster and might unseat a veteran starter with a 6th round pick.

I'm sure some WR or RB would have had a better chance at making the roster and contributing. 🙄

Hope his gramma can make it up to Buffalo to watch him play.

I can't believe ESPN missed the opportunity to put up a graphic highlighting that his Mee-maw had cancer

Former Bills kickers Dustin Hopkins and 23 year vet Gary Anderson called to agree with you.

F Gary Anderson. He resented being drafted by the Bills and played himself off the team on purpose. Too bad we didn’t interview him beforehand instead of wasting a 7th round pick in a 12 round draft.
