Nobody has yet to answer this in multiple Norman threads.

He excelled in zone in Carolina.

Did he play zone or man in Washington? Because some guys excel at one and struggle with the other

he was primarily a man corner in Washington. They know how to ruin players

Oh Albert haynesworth , yea your gonna play 1 tech and not get to rush

Yea Norman , you Excel in cover 3 and 4 .. were gonna have you follow receivers all over the field

Right now, Deion Sanders is faster than Norman.

Norman can't cover anyone and is a bad teammate but yeah, let's suit him up.

Could you please provide some links as to why he is a bad teammate.  This is something I’m not aware of.

So why would you use that recently invented term? What is fake to you

Something that is twisted or simply untrue that the sheep of the world believe.

Image result for toast

Pass ... 32 Years Old and over the past two seasons, he allowed 15 touchdowns in coverage, per Pro Football Reference.

Looking at some of the touchdowns he gave up in that time reveals a trend: Norman has slowed down. Whether in his top-end speed or his ability to change direction on the spot, Norman isn’t as agile as he used to be.

As long as he doesn't pull a "Vontae"

They need a "Vontae" clause in all contracts

?  Did the Bills ever have to pay him seeing as he screwed them ? And if so has any one ever heard how much ?

He can work in the right system and he worked very well when McD was his DC in Carolina, that Defensive unit was a top 5 when Norman was there and quickly dropped down to top 15-20 after Norman and a couple of other guys left. McD and Beane know how to handle Norman. I would welcome him in Buffalo. He didn’t for Washington’s system plus Washington didn’t have a good team around him

nope. That is Due Diligence. Like EVERY team does. A Visit conveys interest.

I would agree that every team looks into every available player.  But every team does not talk to every player.  It doesn't happen.  There is obviously a level of interest.  How much, who knows?

The only reason IMo that is gets reported this way is the “Carolina” Connection.

In this case the connection makes sense because of the zone scheme.

I haven't really followed Norman to know if he has anything left, i'll defer to our coaches as they have earned the benefit of the doubt with regards to DB's.

And even if he is signed, people need to remember  that he’s being signed to the 90 right now which the chance to earn a roster spot - not to the 53.

One of the few times a "sighting" or rumors of a player being Buffalo *actually* worked!

Per Mike Garofolo the Bills have signed Norman to a one year $6 million deal (could become $8 million). Don't like this at all. He's toast. At least it's only one year.

I understand we're all still suffering some PTSD from previous Bills' years where they bring in name brand, "has-beens" only to see them flame away on the field. But, IMHO, Beane and his team have done things very differently. I completely trust Beane and McD to make this call. As I've said in other places, I may not agree at the time or understand it, but that's the beauty of trust - you don't have to feel like you know everything to feel comfortable that it will somehow work itself out.

Kevin Johnson comes to mind when I think about this exact type of player. People were all over this board saying he was a JAG, but while his tackling could improve - he did make some good plays and generally contribute to solid coverage. If Josh Norman was brought in, then ultimately I trust Beane and McD to know how to use his talents to maximize his play....even thought it appears to have declined.
