Name 3 Guys You Want To See The Bills Draft In 2020

1. Chase Claypool / WR / Notre Dame - I've watched the young man play and develop at ND over the last 4 years. He has grown by leaps and bounds despite the inconsistent QB play he has had to deal with. He offers the big-bodied target Josh would love to have, has good hands, excellent body control, runs a solid route tree for a guy his size, has the speed to get behind a defender, and will go up to get the ball at it's highest point. Likely Day 2 selection.

2. AJ Dillon / RB / Boston College - AJ is a RB in an edge defender's body. He will straight run guys over, throw them off of him, has decently nimble feet for a 250lb RB, and has shown some breakaway speed when he hits the open field. I believe he would be the perfect compliment to Singletary in this offense. He can catch the ball, though he would need to work on that part of his game of course, even though he wasn't really used that way at BC. Likely an early/mid Day 3 selection.

3. Kenny Willekes / DE / Michigan St. -  Willekes is a process guy if there ever was one. He went from being a walk on @ MSU to a 2nd Team All American. He is relentless on the field and has excellent lateral mobility for a DE. He also just seems to have a knack for sniffing out and then getting in to make tackles on running plays. The knock on him, apparently, is his power, but I've I've seen him bull rush his way through or straight throw out of the way the OT in front of him. You also better not let your TE try to block him 1 on 1. He will need to be coached up a bit on not getting caught with his eyes in the backfield so he maintains his edge, but I believe he could be a nice get for someone late Day 2/early Day 3.

I’ll start with Justin Jefferson from LSU, just think he’s one of those underrated guys in the process that becomes a star in the league like DAndre Hopkins

Cam Akers from Florida State. His Oline was horrendous, still put up 1,000 yard seasons and big plays in the run and pass game. Would be an awesome 1-2 punch

Alex Taylor South Carolina State. Awesome 3-5 rounder who has all the measurable to be a big time NFL tackle. Small school will hurt him but he could play LT or RT after we get the rawness out

First off I’m going to cheat because if everything stayed as is in a perfect draft I’d take: 1st round Ceedee Lamb, 2nd CJ Henderson, 3rd Bradlee Anae or Josh Uche...but it’s unlikely those players last that long.

This is an awesome draft for WRs I love so many of these guys.

3 players I would be happy to have in buffalo:

Ke’Shawn Vaughn - 4th round or later I’d take Vaughn over any RB. If we’re taking a RB early I’d want Taylor or Edwards.

Denzel Mims - if we don’t land one of the premier WRs early he’s a big mismatch with nice hands

Josh Uche - take over for LoRax. He’s got a great motor and is fun to watch

You hit on two of my three! I am interested to see how Claypool runs at the combine. He has insane body control that reminds me of Larry Fitzgerald at Pitt.

I assume you mean realistic otherwise i would take Chase Young , Derrick Brown and Andrew Thomas.

1. WR Laviska Shenault 62 220

My latest draft crush is Bradlee Anae out of Utah. Think him in the 2nd would be amazing value. Feels like a bit of a reach at #22.

He started to win me over Senior Bowl week. He was just so consistently good all week against top talent. Anae in the 2nd would be great.

Jefferson - wr - LSU ... Watched this kid a lot this season as LSU was on every week. He was well beyond being good every time I watched him play. He is just what Allen needs, he gets open, he catches the ball, he gets in the end zone.

Bradley Anae - DE/LB - Utah ... Would be a solid replacement for Alexander

Ezra Cleveland - OT - Boise St ... Still need more on the line. Move Ford to LG and they might be set.

Willekes is definitely a guy I want us to draft

Remember last year when everyone wanted the Bills to draft Bryce Love in the 4th round?

He did have a very nice season, seems to have great hands and body control as you said, plus good w/ contested catches.

1. Jalen Reagor. I assume Jeudy, Lamb, and Ruggs are out of reach and Reagor is the next best WR IMO.

2. Edwards-Hellaire. I love him as a prospect. I don’t think Buffalo will go for him but I would love it if they did.

3. Amik Robertson. Undersized slot corner and doesn’t really have the elite athleticism you look for to make up for it but the way he plays seems like a good fit with McD and I think he can be had on Day 3.

Just missing out is Bryan Edwards, the South Carolina WR.
