I'm not a picky girl. I'll just need a shiv and a pack of smokes. Whichever one of you can do this for me will have my heart. By the way, what REALLY happened with Ronnie Harmon's drop vs. the Browns? Can one of you Frank/Joe Hardy-type internet sleuths get to the bottom of this while I'm in the slammer? Thank you :)

I'm apparently really good at getting stuff over the border without having to pay taxes, so I'm sure I could figure out how to smuggle some contraband to you.

There is the possibility of a suspension for a member of upper management and/or ownership as well, sources said, pending the results of the NFL's full investigation into the matter.

"There is a possibility" is like maybe and has not value.

Better words would be "It is unlikely but NFL may be pushed into a suspension".

Do not forget the Pete Rose treatment for Trifecta of Evil - Kraft, Billicheat and Br*dy.

These talking heads are idiots if they don't think that this information doesn't make its way back to Billy B.  Yes, maybe he has nothing to do with the actual tapes themselves, but if you don't think the information that they gather from these tapes don't end up in a report on his desk at the end of the day, you are stupid and ignorant.

This is crap and no fine or draft pick loss is enough.  What is a few million dollars to a company that is worth billions?  A draft pick, or even an entire draft, is no big deal with FA.  They need a REAL punishment that should prevent this from ever happening again They should be playoff ineligible this year and next year at a minimum and the coaching staff should be suspended as well.

I agree that being banned from playoffs makes sense and it is simple - P*ts position whether it is 1 or 6 is vacated and everyone moves up which is normal way things work but what if a team with no chance of getting into playoffs did this?  There has to be a public position on it and if it means anyone involved OR RESPONSIBLE is banned from NFL like those Chicago baseball players so be it.

How does ESPN go from exposing the Patriots in that article then to shilling for them now? Every time “The Worldwide Leader” talks about the topic it is completely minimized and the cheating history and MO are totally ignored. Bless the Bengals for fighting this fight! Seriously.

It is because ESPN has no real direction.  Lots of opinion writers, editors who have minimal influence hence poorly written / produced, etc.  Almost as bad as Bills website (which at time was contracted out to company in Chicago) which had the wrong score on their website of a Bills game.

Us media types are all given instructions to minimize the Patriots' cheating so to make the NFL look legitimate and not look like the bull####, big-market pandering WWE circus that it has become. But deep down, we all know their two-decade "dynasty" is fraudulent. We just can't say it on the air. Oh my stars....I'd lose my job at GMFB if I said this! On a related note, please no one tell Roger Goodell that I post here at Two Bills Drive.

Looks like "Kay" does not know there are a number of P*ts moles here.

I just wonder if the delay is the fact that many owners are really really mad.

They skated before and everyone agreed to let it pass for the good of the league.  They were probably told to knock it off.

You have to think other owners, especially in the afc are more livid than us.

No there are not.  They see the cheating but realize if it is public this may cost them money.  We do not have a Al Davis anymore. :(

P*ts should be sold with money from new owner divided among teams in league based on number of games played against them with bonuses for teams which played them in playoffs.

A moron on ESPN radio compared this to the Pats being caught driving 56 MPH in a 55 zone...coulda happened to anyone.  He also guaranteed that the Pats gained no competitive advantage. I don’t know who it was because I immediately changed the channel.

They have a documented record of cheating. Period.  They will keep cheating going forward until punished sufficiently.

Its like the Seahawks strategy a few years ago when they just held on defense every play knowing they would only get flagged for it once in awhile. The benefit of holding every play and getting away with it far outweighed the cost of getting flagged periodically.

Boomer Esiason is on the radio this AM and he says now that he saw the footage...he says they are in trouble.

He also says Belicheck sounds a lot different this week, than he did last week, talking about this. Also said the crew was Kraft's camera crew, and somebody had already been let go?

Pats could get signals from the video and isnt funny how teams have reported issues with helmet communication in NE, which causes teams to rely on signals.   And the guy lied about his position with the organization.   If it walks like a duck........

I suspect it might be a catch 22.  I have to think that certain owners are probably furious behind the scenes.  Think of all the revenue that fat little toad Bob Kraft hoards, and all the revenue lost by Irsay/Indy have lost a ton to the 'dynasty', KC could have won a Superbowl last season, LA lost the Superbowl, Baltimore could have had more glory over the years, Pittsburgh too, Buffalo could/should have home playoff games, etc.  Even Khan has to wonder if the AFC Championship Game a few years ago was tainted and a Superbowl could have done wonders for the Jaguars.

The owners probably do acknowledge the damage that could be done with huge penalties, but also aren't rolling over.  I am almost certain that there was a pretty strong 'gentlemen's agreement' in 2007 that collectively, the owners would make this go away, BUT, the Patriots needed to cease and desist with the B.S.  I think this is why "Deflategate" was so overblown, and I dont think Kraft and Belichick helped themselves with the lack of cooperation and general disregard for the NFL.

I think this is why the resolution has been delayed.  There

Thank god he had the accent.  It's so appropriate for the scenario and makes the whole thing that much better.

If you watch many Pats games, Belichick does the thing each week. On the first few drives of games he stares across the field watching the signals the team is using, Ernie Adams, their cheating coordinator is in his ear, and he writes down what signals are what formation ect. on a note card in his pocket.

They're stealing signals week in and week out.

And he's a total moron. He tries to get out of the situation by lying and saying he doesn't have a computer so he can get the files back once he deletes them. But all you need is a computer and you can recover deleted files from any camera. And he knows that, because every videographer in the world has accidentally deleted files and knows that file recovery software for cameras exist for the very reason.
