As fans we just see the throws, but a young quarterback has a ton to learn (pre snap checks, etc.) When Big Ben came into the league he pretty much just handed the ball off his first season or two. Yup...it might seem harsh to some, but I am guarding against the lowered expectations from previous Bills QBs...I want our franchise QB to be great...therefore, he’s really gotta really earn a B+ grade from me. ? Josh had a few passes which should have been caught, and weren't. He did fumble, which is why it is not an A+. Bottom line, and like it or not, Josh was the best player on the team, today. Like to see him wrap the ball with two hands like a rb when he's in traffic Defenders are really targeting that ball. Foster sucks. That is two games he made no adjustment on the ball in the air They arent always going to land in your arms in stride 60 yards downfield. The #1 need for next year is a big explosive wr. He threw the ball only 20 times and half of those were in obvious passing downs (as the game plan did not help him in any way). He did well overall: He completed 70% of his passes, accounted for two of the three TDs, and came through when they needed him to. The fumbles are becoming troubling and he has got to figure out a way to protect the ball better. This 1960's football is doing Allen no good & still hard to say whether this is the QB of the future. I mean that guy throws bombs with such a high arcing trajectory that the ball comes down like it’s dropped in the bucket so to speak. The DB has very little chance to knock it down. Allen should work on that. His deep throws are more of the frozen rope variety and they have to be perfect. Very little chance for our WRs to track and run under them.
