The optimistic side of the loss...nothing lost

NFC loss which doesn't hurt us.

Browns lost.

Raiders lost

And pulling for a chiefs loss.

Net net is we still lead for wildcard spot with a very winnable game next week.

Playoffs are still in our control and now we just need to face some adversity for the first time...

Good view point. On the contrary we did lose another game on NE as they now stand 8-0 to our 5-2. Of course many will say we aren’t going to win the division against an all time great NE defense and efficient offense but there’s still 9 weeks left.

Ya.   I'm feeling the wildcard unless someone proves to me that the Pat's are actually beatable.

It’s the NFL almost every team has one of these games a year. Eagles played well. It’s not like they are a nobody. They beat the Packers and have been in every game but the cowboys game.

Their weakness was helped by the weather today.

Let’s beat Washington and get to 6-2

I’ve read before that NFC losses help you make the playoffs.

I don't believe it.  If more of your wins are AFC wins, It gives a slight advantage in terms of tie breakers for a wild card spot, but a loss is never better than a win.

They are good for playoff births, but also comp picks. Vegas is studying that. Spleen health is a side affect still being studied by the CDC in Atlanta.

Getting beat down like that in your own backyard is humiliating.  We’ll see if this team is different with how they respond to adversity with a very beatable opponent.  Lord knows they didn’t respond well today after that fumble.

Need another stretch of opponents who will win 2 or 3 games this year

this was their Super Bowl.   Hats off to them.

That’s funny

8 wins can take that division

they’re probably confused why there wasn’t  600 cameramen on the sidelines, an extravagant halftime show, and a trophy at the end.

they played well and took a road win off a team highly rated by the experts

We almost lost to the Bengals and Dolphins at home.  We could easily be at least 4-3 with a tougher schedule coming up.  I'm fine with 5-2 and hopefully 6-2 after next week.  Sometimes you need a good spanking to get back on track.

If we had a world class special teams coach we wldve avoided that blocked punt TD and beaten the Pats.

Or a head coach that knows how to call a timeout when he sees a play about to blow up in his face.

It’s an NFC loss, sure so not as damaging. It exposed many cracks in the Bills scheme, though. That’s worrisome going forward. The good news is there are a lot of mediocre teams in the NFL and many of them are on the Bills schedule. They weren’t winning the division anyway, and you could probably say that for about 26 other teams if they resided in the AFCE.

the issue is we have beaten the most garbage teams in the league and got beat down by a decent one. we are lucky we were given the easiest schedule ever and still have easy games ahead

We have beaten Tennessee on road. They are 4-4 like Eagles so they are decent team too. Looking the schedule It was expected we win 1 of these 2 games. And it's better we won in game with AFC competitor.  Nobody expected perfect season without losses.

we beat tenn when they were playing garbage mariota. they are a complete different team without him. and even vs that D we only scored 14. and were lucky to face mariota. and tenns wins are vs buccs browns jags and falcons all garbage to. but without mariota are much better

its a fact we have beat the bottom of the barrel
