But our play calling still allowed the opponent to potentially tie the football game within the final 2 minutes of the football game (TWICE!!!!) when it NEVER should have come to that. Our coaches don't coach to win. They coach not to lose. That's fine against Devlin Hodges. How's it going to work in the playoffs against Brady/Jackson/Mahomes/Watson??? So sick of cowardly coaching. But the same coaching staff went for the 4th and 6 and then in early Q4, threw that strike into the end zone on 3rd down. On an Allen INT, I noticed that he threw a high velocity, flutter ball that wasn't that well placed (slightly behind and maybe a bit elevated) on the target. That fluttering hardball would be hard to catch if it was spot on, but it made for what would have been a very hard catch (I think for Brown) and it deflected off him and was picked. ...so my question is....regarding drops....is this due in part because Allen doesn't always uncork a tight spiral? does he throw knucklers at his guys often like that? Higher than ideal, but then again if Beasley is 5'11" instead of 5'8" he probably snags it no problem. Super tight spiral? Maybe not but I don't recall it being a duck. I would have to see it again. Before you freak out about me being hyperbolic, the Bills had BY FAR the highest drop percentage in the nfl coming in to this week. Can't imagine this game helped, either. Over the last 2 seasons I have seen KC receivers make catches on balls that looked a lot like Allen's high throw to Beasley. Kelsey alone seems to make 1 or 2 catches of "poorly" thrown balls every game. In reality though those passes are not "poorly" thrown because in the NFL the first job is to get the ball to where a receiver can catch it.
