I don't understand the hatred for this guy, who obviously has a number of NFL-caliber tools and was a productive college QB. As you point out, he gets few snaps in practice and he's thrown out there with third stringers. Not saying he's played great, but for FFS, there's no reason to write the guy off forever. I have some down on Minnesota money line but thought about giving the 3 points. Tyree looks bad to me, not even close to being worth a team investing a practice squad spot in IMO. If you watch him you see terrible decision making, no accuracy, and a propensity to tuck it and run it instead of scanning the field and making throws. Josh Allen last year, on the other hand, truly was hurt by a lack of talent around him, specifically oline talent. He made tough throws into tight windows, made good decisions often (obviously not always), and showed that he could stick in the pocket and go through progressions. Allen had flaws, but he showed a ton of ability and Nobody would be ragging on Jackson if he showed even a little ability to be an NFL QB. Because some fans thought they got a steal when we signed him as an undrafted free agent and were even predicting he beats Barkley out for the backup role. People hate being wrong.
