I think fans have unreal expectations of how good rookie QBs should be. He’s a very raw dude with a ton of physical talent. His physical tools are very impressive and by the time you have to discuss your 3rd stringer I greatly prefer tools to consistency. I think Peterman is consistent and I know I never want him again. Jackson I doubt will ever be even a low end starter but as the guy coming in to get the win when your real qb is hurt I think we could do worse.
