Bills Training Camp Day 6 - 7/31

Recommended Posts

Is it wrong for me to like the fact that Josh throws a couple of picks?  I mean, the Bills' D is pretty good and he has to learn what he can and can't get away with.  That's what practice is for.

Defensively if we want to be able to deal with the likes of Brady they better be able to give Allen some rough days

Look, we knew that he was going to throw X number of picks this year, including pre-season and even practice. It's inevitable, even Brady throws X number of picks. So every one he throws now is actually one less than he is likely to throw when the real games start. This is a huge win for Josh, the Bills and us right now.

Like I said the other day.  Allen's great days are being overblown.  He needs to be quicker with progressions.

Except for the fact that his signature bomb for a TD last year to Robert Foster "would have been sacked otherwise" too, especially in a practice setting from a reporter's eyes.

Exactly, harder to sack Allen than what is considered a TC "sack"

Sounded like he pushed an OL into him

Need some context. Is the play still going on? Was it after the whistle?  If it’s during the play it’s not that big of a deal. If it’s after then it’s a problem. Judging by McDermotts reported response it was after whistle but that hasn’t been confirmed.

I don't know the stages of the concussion protocol proceedure, but if he's out taking snaps, he's already past the first stage.  That would suggest it's not a bad one.

Ya I do know he'd have to get clearance to even step foot on the practice field Obviously this is a wonderful sign.

Was it late or did Oliver just dominate the O-lineman

It was very fast and hard to tell what happened but we saw Allen go down and a lot of people grumbled lol.  It was a clean play in a game, but not a good idea in TC to put your QB on his butt kinda thing.

That's not actually true. ;)

Is there a person on this board who doesn't like Tre White? What a combination of talent, work ethic, production, attitude, and pure fun.
