74 year old lady rescued after being injured hiking. It might be the funniest thing I've seen in a while.

One of the funnier things I've seen in awhile.  Not sure what's funnier: the fact that a 74 yr old woman was spinning around that fast or the comments by the newscasters trying to act professional.  I wouldn't have been able to report that without chuckling.

It’s nice how all y’all take enjoyment from the misfortune of the elderly.

If y’all are lucky enough to reach a ripe old age I hope for nothing but the best for you.

Somebody is jus a little sensitive.  Ran out of prune juice this morning?

Yeah what do they do to stop it.  Can't touch her down, basket to ground.  Holy Moly!  Pull the winch up.  The longer the lead, the faster the spin, right?  It seemed to go faster when the pilot thought about touching the basket down... Then it must have dawned on them: "Noooo!  Bad idea!"

I don't care WTF @Cripple Creek says... People laugh @ the misfortune of others because they are really thinking:

"***** that's funny, glad it isn't me!"

I believe he's exhibiting symptoms of a condition known as "empathy."

Funny!?  Some people have a very strange sense of humor.

I'd have asphyxiated on my barf.  That looked awful. The poor woman.

I did the tea cups at Carowinds a couple decades ago. I’m still not right!

Ya lob it up there...

It’s a test. I make a mental note of who I suspect might go for it, and how clever it will be.

But I’ll never forget the first time I felt motion sickness was on those stinkin’ tea cups. My day at the park was over! Where the hell did THAT come from?

Yeah I kind of could find some dark humor in the other thread about Tracy Morgan damaging a 2 million dollar car.

This though I just felt horrible watching that.  You know picture that as a loved one
