It achieves 3 objectives: 1.) Help players maximize their athletic potential and their ability to stay healthy and available 2.) Help sell free agents on coming to Buffalo and to keep those players that are here happy 3.) Provides a space where players can voluntarily spend time and train together, thus building comradery. In terms of FA destination, he made it seem like they had the ability to add more but held back. Beane wants to make a move that happend with Mack or Copper last year. I could see any of the 3 DE holding out on the franchise tag. The wildcard is what Atlanta does with their cap situation and verbal agreement to redo Julio Jones contract this offseason.
