I'm not a big fan of the single payer system, which is why I liked the candidates who talked about universal health care in other ways, like fixing the problems that are there and have been with Obamacare, which is what I think will ultimately happen in some form, no matter who is in office because the law is already there and there will be the House and Senate to contend with. But as much as socialism is demonized, we have plenty of socially supported programs and infrastructure and so on that you and I use and benefit from every day that to lay claim that we'd suddenly cross that line into socialism because of what will ultimately be one or maybe two major changes in our country is just ridiculous. President Trump is the first Republican presidential nominee that I have ever voted for (my 7th election to vote in). He will also be the second.
