It never even occurred to me at any point in the last few weeks to wonder why I haven't seen him on the field. I think all of the Rookies have shown growth over the first four games and T. Johnson is no different, IMHO. Sirles would be a big help and I'm good with that and I don't really see why the Bills wouldn't want 5 CBs so keeping Gaines AND T. Jons active makes more sense to me. Not to mention the new Dontae, which as I said, I think could be more for Safety help that CB, but only the Bills know their plans for the time being. SCBills Posted October 2, 2018 Share Posted October 2, 2018 (edited) It certainly looks like they are trying to get the defense right this year and simply evaluate offensive personnel. The defense, aside from Kyle and perhaps Lorax, could all be back next year. Lots of young talent and talent in/entering their prime on this defense. On offense, we all know, and they certainly know, that most of these guys won’t be here next year. Outside of Allen and Dawkins, I couldn’t guarantee you anyone else is here in 2019. They’re not going to fix their offenSe with a broken lawn chair, an umbrella with a jammed up frame, and a touque with a small hole in it.
