They guy showed next to nothing, albeit in a short amount of time. CLE was happy to get rid of him. It was worth a shot, but “ potential” only does so much in the NFL. The player has to work hard to produce at some point.

I don't disagree.

He must have had a terrible attitude and zero hustle in practice.

I mean I just don't get why we keep these bottom of the barrel try hard players that are going to be inactive every game instead of someone with potential

Browns had no value for him. Bills had no value for him.

Maybe he just sucks and isnt isn’t worth keeping around.

Nothhing about his career so far suggest potential.

Got one right.  That trade reeked of the Hackenberg for a conditional 7th sort of thing.  Give the GM something as a favor so they can save some face and not cut the guy, then turn around and cut the guy shortly thereafter.

John Dorsey didn't draft Coleman. This wasn't a favor between Beane and Dorsey. It was Beane taking a shot on Coleman for a 7th rounder in 2 years, plus salary. It didn't work out. No huge loss.

Dang, was rooting for Reilly.  But have to trust the coaches on this one.  I don’t see him in practice, ... maybe he’s not getting enough separation? Who knows.  The rib didn’t help.  Be interesting if he gets picked up by another club.

No one is picking up Coleman for $3.5M. I bet the Bills bring him back for a lot less.

So we would take the cap hit for cutting him and then bring him back at a lower salary to take more of a cap hit?
