That was pathetic to watch. The o line provided zero protection. Allen could've gotten rid of the ball earlier a few times but can't blame the guy for trying to make a play. The o line just gave him no shot with this weak wr group. No separation from the WR at all.

Horrible half.

Mercifully completed half. I'll go ahead and call that an abomination on most every part of the team. Horrible front 4 play getting jack for pressure, bad pass defence giving up pass plays consistently, dropped passes and misplayed catches....and the Oline and Allen were taking turns making each other look bad. Not what we expected here ladies and gents.

The guy everyone here loves to destroy(Tyrod Taylor) did a lot for the offensive line the last few years.

He masked the weakness of our OL, but that won't happen this year. This offense will be bottom 3. Bank on it. The defense will be below average. Get ready to draft the best OL in the draft next Spring.

Yes, oline is pathetic but Allen is holding the ball too long imo.

The hit that took him out of the game was on him. There was one play earlier where he definitely held it too long too...  but there have been multiple plays where he never had a chance.

I cant comment about what is going on in the mind of another individual.

In an an ideal world, you’d like your QB to not take a hit and be able to throw the ball away. In the reality we’ve seen today, that has been easier said than done. The kid hasn’t had enough time to get beyond his first read. Often times, he’s had someone in his face almost immediately.

Agreed and this is exactly why Allen should not see the field this season.  He is working on footwork and trying to improve.  He is a rookie in the NFL, which is at least 2 levels above where he played in college.  This OL is epically bad and there are no receivers to get open early.

Between Groy, Bodine, Vlad and Miller...

Just cut one of them after this game to make an example of. Is it really that hard to replace this kind of play??? None of this 4 are truly solid, it’s not like they are just having a bad game, they’re just not that good.

This is NOT the offensive line Tyrod played with. We are down our best 3 starters from the line Tyrod played most of his football behind.

Bingo. We saw this exact thing from Flutie.
