Who has been watching "Euphoria" on HBO?

I didn't really fall in love after episode 1, but since, I have become addicted to this show.

It is unrealistically way over the top in terms of how it portrays sexuality in young kids, but I guess that is the point.

Really enjoying it so far.

I watched the first two episodes and really liked it.  Got put on the back burner when Stranger Things came out.  I have to pick it back up.  Thanks for the reminder!

I highly recommend "The Boys" on Amazon. It's funny and very good. You will get a kick out of it. I'm on ep 7 with 1 more to go. So good I almost completed watching the whole season yesterday. Would have if the Bills game didn't come on of course.

Karl Urban absolutely steals the show.

I just found recently that Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann's daughter is on the show. She was in a bunch of his movies when she was really young and I think she was the one in the recent commercials with her mom for some skin cream

Finished watching it a few days ago, it was pretty good, didn't realise it's based of an actual comic that's much more graphic (sexually and violence). The last episode has a bit of a surprise ending cliff hanger.....

Yessir! Just started Season 2 last night. Psychology, and criminal psychology in particular is something that's always been fascinating to me. A part of me wishes I had tried to get into that line of work. Probably more interesting than what I do now but my field definitely has its perks.

we got through the first episode and halfway through the second.  i was just too tired to go on!  i love anything psychology as well.  as sexy as working for the fbi may seem, i have a feeling it's an administrative hell.  you better be ready to play the game, or you're going no where fast.

Me too.   Watched the first episode looking forward to the next one tonight.  Probably should have watched the end of season 1 though, took me a while to remember how everything ended.

I imagine that's the case, but I don't think that's all that different from what I do now/used to do with my previous job haha. The real tough part for me to reconcile is that it would probably be less money for far more hours and less control over my personal life. I do think it would be more interesting though and maybe that would outweigh everything else.

Anyways, don't want to derail the Netflix thread over this haha.

Episode 2 was really good.

I'll put the following in spoiler section, even though it's not.

"I am always careful to close all the doors"...house back door open...

I’m currently watching Escape at Dannemora on Showtime.  I know I’m late to the party on this one, but what a great show.  The story itself is great, but the show itself is so well done.

I thought it was really well done.  No clue where they came up with those accents, though.

I have not heard of that show so I just looked it up.  It looks immediately intriguing to me, but I don't have Showtime.

Is this available any other way?  Anyone know?

PS:  Johnny, did you ever get back into "Euphoria" on HBO?

I was saying the other night how I thought their accents sounded more Wisconsin/Minnesota/N-S Dakota.  Especially Tilly and her husband.

We watch it on the Showtime app.  “Borrowed” my BIL’s user and password and we’re watching it on the Firestick.

Nope, haven’t picked Euphoria yet.  Watched the first two episodes and stopped, but the plan is to watch the rest.  Have to finish Dannemora and watch Mindhunter first.

The Widow on Amazon Prime is pretty good.  Interesting setting in the DRC.  Kate Beckinsale's still hot.

I know The Boys will be good.  Planning on watching that soon.  Don't think my wife will like that so watching it on my own.

Couple episodes into the last season of Jessica Jones.  Decent.

Definitely want to get into Mindhunter.  Trying to get the wife to watch it with me.  We both loved Criminal Minds... any similarities?  I know the pacing is slower, but just curious.

My father in law said he's a couple seasons into The Expanse and he really likes that.  Anyone watch it?

It's pretty good I think it's definitely got plenty of stuff similar to criminal minds since it's essentially the origins of the unit that show was based on. But it's not villain of the week like Criminal minds more about telling it's own continuous story with cases across multiple episodes.

It's really good a very gritty seemingly realistic scifi show.

That’s how extreme north country people talk. Extreme north country. That part of NYS is so f’n desolate it’s like a different country.

Also if you YouTube some interviews of Tilly and her husband, the accents in the show were pretty well done.

Used to be part of my sales territory way back in the 90s and they nailed it as far as portraying the locals up there.
