I really liked this series, the actors played well together and the stuff their adopted father did to them made them so messed up. I really love the music choices in the show also. PastaJoe Posted February 24, 2019 Share Posted February 24, 2019 Started watching Marvel’s The Runaways on Hulu. A mix of the X-Men and The Breakfast Club. It has the same feel as The Gifted on Fox. They use real Marvel characters, but I never read those books so I can’t say how similar the teens are. Teens discovering their powers as their rich parents work together on some dark secrets. apuszczalowski Posted February 26, 2019 Share Posted February 26, 2019 So I get an email this morning from Netflix saying they are raising their price again so they can continue to make more great programming such as Umbrella Academy, Titans, etc. While showing about 6 different photos of titles they recently released. What I found funny was they included 'The Punisher' as one of them, a title they just canceled last week. Usually, if you want to get people to go along with your price hike, you probably shouldn't include a popular show you just canceled...... I wasnt complaining about them raising the fees, I was laughing at the fact that in an email they sent out informing people that they are raising their fees, they show a bunch of posters for their shows and include one of a popular show they just canceled. Are they running on a different schedule up there in Canada? The price increase was a little while ago down here (which by the way was before shows were canceled). Must be on a different schedule, the monthly fee in Canada is going up $3 a month, they just sent the email out last week advertising the recently added Umbrella Academy, The Punisher, and Titans. I just thought it was funny that they advertise a show they just canceled in their email to let everyone know their prices are going up again......
