LeGOATski
Yuck... I wouldn't mind if they traded McCoy for a good deal, but Sherman would not be a good deal. Another early draft pick or 2 would be nice.
WhoTom
I'd trade McCoy for Kiko Chip, is that you?
nucci
What happened to the steady stream of "IN" when a thread is made discussing the same topic as the thread literally directly above it. INconceivable

KellyToughII
would rather have McCoy, the lifeblood of our offense We are collecting RB's left and right, it seems to me we are building up for a move of mcCoy. So offer up the deal and see what happens

Hurricane
In an NFL draft that is deep with running back and cornerback talent, this trade might make sense for both parties. Seattle may not get the value they are looking for with a Sherman trade with such a deep draft class. Mccoy is 28 years old and still posting big time numbers in the running game. He is under contract until 2019 with a base salary of roughly 6 million and a cap number of around 9 million per year. Sherman (also 28 years old) is under contract until 2018 with a base guaranteed salary of roughly 11 million and cap hit of 13 million. As part of the trade, perhaps Sherman would need to agree to an extension. Although McCoy would be a significant loss, I think Gillislee would be capable behind our pretty solid O line. This is a draft deep with running back talent so a rb could be drafted in the later rounds to compliment gillislee. Seattle recently signed Eddy Lacy, but McCoy would be a deadly weapon in the seattle offense especially with his ability to catch the ball. The acquisition of Sherman would solidify our secondary and add some much needed grittiness to our defense. Perfect..

Just Joshin'
If the draft is deep with running backs why would Seattle give up an asset and pay McCoy more than they would a drafted back?
