Good article about authoritarian, human rights abuser nations being the ones most interested in hosting the games. Hopefully, it will change and they will start repurposing in host nations/cities.

This swiss women's beach volleyball team is pretty hot!

Yes, I was deeply saddened when they lost yesterday. This morning, it looks like the Serbian women's indoor volleyball team is going to lose, too. Its all quite unfortunate, really.

Ryan lochte was robbed at gunpoint in Rio. Haha

why would you leave the Olympic compound? All this attention? All the world as it is? I'm surprised it's not been worse.

It was foolish to leave. His mother said he was robbed but no gun. Just wallet taken

I cant even come close to following your logic on most things...this no exception.

Lochte told NBC News. "We got pulled over, in the taxi, and these guys came out with a badge, a police badge, no lights, no nothing just a police badge and they pulled us over,” Lochte said. “They pulled out their guns, they told the other swimmers to get down on the ground — they got down on the ground. I refused, I was like we didn’t do anything wrong, so — I’m not getting down on the ground.

“And then the guy pulled out his gun, he cocked it, put it to my forehead and he said, ‘Get down,’ and I put my hands up, I was like ‘whatever.’ He took our money, he took my wallet — he left my cellphone, he left my credentials.”

What an idiot. The guy tried to get tough with street criminals in Brazil.
