papazoid
spikes is finished. kiko starts at weak side. brown plays strong side, he can cover a TE. I think bradham makes a nice middle LB.
nucci
OK, I'm not trolling or being intentionally argumentative. But here goes. We have a great defensive line, not just the starters but every backup as well. We have three really good LBs on the field, plus adequate backups. Where will Kiko fit next year, if the Bills are able to bring Spikes back? On the other hand, the Bills desperately need upgrades at a couple of positions on the offensive side, and they could stand an upgrade at safety as well. The question is, as good as Kiko is, would you trade him for a really good, proven, QB? How about two dominant offensive lineman? Or would you never want to trade him and are thinking of coming out to Utah to explain things to me in person? Kiko for a proven QB or two dominant offensive linemen? The polite answer is no team would give this up for one LB who has only played one year and coming off knee surgery...the non polite answer...really? someone will give us a QB or 2 dominant OL for Kiko? Formerly Allan in MD
The only type of player i would consider trading a young talent like that for would be a good franchise QB. And no team is going to trade a good franchise QB for a LB. Especially a linebacker who had a serious injury and sat out a year. Never happen. Fan in Alaska
If Spikes is resigned, then Kiko most likely pushes a very talented Brown or Bradham to the bench...and the lowest linebacker on the depth chart, unfortunately, doesn't make the team. Can't imagine Brown or Bradham not starting, but what a advantage, having that kind of talent and experience on the bench.

They both already get more snaps than Spikes because they can both play the run and the pass well. Spikes would likely only be used in obvious running downs. Fadingpain
No, don't trade Kiko. The idea in sports is to keep the good players and get rid of the bad ones. Most kids catch onto that when they are picking teams in gym class at age 7.
Big Gun
OK, OK, just asking, not recommending. But why? How does someone even have these bizarre thoughts? Then not only have these thoughts but actually talk yourself into thinking they are good ideas! OMG!
The Real Buffalo Joe
Honestly IF you could get a franchise QB, I'd take it. But as stated before, no way that happens.

The polite answer is no team would give this up for one LB who has only played one year and coming off knee surgery...the non polite answer...really? someone will give us a QB or 2 dominant OL for Kiko? Exactly what I was going to say. Yes, trade him for 2 dominant OL.... but it will never happen. Spikes will not be here next year. So Kiko goes outside next year with Bradham and Brown. We address the other areas through the draft and Free agency.

947
Spikes is One & done. Some other team will pay him 3-down LB money, and he isn't worth that to the Bills. We need Kiko.

Dorkington
Depth is good. Kiko last year was better than Brown or Bradham this year, imo. Not really sure why we would trade away the guy.

voodoo poonani
Kiko, Brown, and Bradham could be a phenomenal LB corps next year. I'm Not passing that up for a player on the downslope or unknown prospect QB. Especially with how we've done our homework on this subject in the past.
