The QB who killed Nate Hackett's career.

Good for him. Best of luck to you, Nate, except when you play the Bills.

Diggs traded to Texans for picks

One good point that Nate Geary made is Keenan Allen went for a 4th. He had 110 catches last year. So a 2nd for Diggs is about right. -

What is amazing is the Saints brought Nate's QB coach to New Orleans. They needed someone good on whiteboard I guess.

Live 2024 NFL Draft thread - Round 1 (Do NOT tip the Bills pick)
GunnerBill replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
That is the last of my 1st/2nd borderline guys. So in terms of 1st round types it really is Johnny Newton, Nate Wiggins, Cooper DeJean, Kool-Aid and Xavier Legette for me. If people are interested AD Mitchell is #8 remaining for me and Worthy is #10 remaining. -
I was 8 years old and my Dad took me to Bills hosting the Raiders in Primetime in 1990. Think a Nate Odomes pick 6 was one of the key plays of the game and win. The Bills of course rattled off a ton of other exciting wins that season, only to finish with the heartbreaking FG miss by Norwood. Combine that with three more consecutive SB losses and I’ve been obsessed with eventually winning a SB since.

With the CBS crew I am guessing Nate will take over as the host once JB retires or is let go by CBS. I actually liked the CBS crew. I prefer that over FOX and not just because CBS focuses primarily on the AFC. As for FOX Terry and Jimmy should retire. The rest of them are OK.

We are literally going to smoke our garbage division and cruise on to first place. the fish got gutted and scaled. the jets have an old qb that hasn’t done anything in years with Nate Hackett. the patriots are going to suck for the next two decades with belichick out. we’ve got Josh Allen guys. It’s going to be ok

Bad take. Nate Geary was clearly a guy who was dying on the “Diggs ain’t going anywhere” hill, and now his brain is broken. Beane and co. are paying Diggs an extra $3M this year to not play here. That’s what they think of him.

It is easily Nate Peterman. He. Could. Not. Play.

Chiefs president floats the idea of the team leaving
PromoTheRobot replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
You realize the Niners stadium is like 8 miles from San Jose? It's 45 miles from San Fran. Liepold, Nate Oats, Felicia Leggette-Jack...UB is the cradle of coaches. -
Tre White A Post June 1st Cut, According to Schefter
ScotSHO replied to par73's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nate Odomes had a similar career to Tre. Very productive, lasted longer than the average CB but injuries ended his career in a similar fashion. -
Coach: Steve Fairchild. Former OC in 2006-2007. Absolutely zero point in his whole offense. Zero game awareness. He is the only coach that could make Nate Hackett look like a Andy Reid out there. Just a terrible OC. Player: Jerry Hughes. Like the guy. Disliked the penalties (some deserved some questionable) that he seemed to attract. And strongly disliked the whole "pressures are as good as sacks" argument that would spring up every year.

With the last and final pick of round 1 at 32 the KC Chiefs select Nate Wiggins CB Clemson. He will slip right in and replace L'Jarius Sneed. Although Newton is rated higher, I think him playing the same position as Chris Jones leads me to my pick. As the best man-coverage cornerback in this draft class, Wiggins is a perfect fit for Kansas City. It’s true: he doesn’t have the size that most Chiefs cornerbacks have — but neither did Trent McDuffie. While McDuffie has more weight and density, Wiggins is longer — and should profile better as an outside cornerback. And like McDuffie, Wiggins’s film shows an unexpected level of physicality and strength. https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2024/3/21/24104248/chiefs-draft-clemson-nate-wiggins-man-coverage#:~:text=As the best man-coverage,better as an outside cornerback.

Im guessing you have never watched Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams, George Carlin, Rodney Dangerfield, and every other great comic that came long before PG Seinfeld who had edgy and vulgar comedy. Although since that’s your style of comedy I would recommend Nate Bargatze who is a hilarious comic and clean. He’s got amazing specials on Netflix and one on Amazon.

Russell Wilson Released

And here I was thinking that was EJ Manuel. Knowing the charmed life Nate Hackett has lived, I fully expect he'll get yet another life. -
Top 5 QB and Top 5 WR salary cannot coexist on a SB team
Rampant Buffalo replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
In the playoff game against the Chiefs, Diggs had 3 receptions on 8 targets, for 21 yards. When targeting Diggs, Allen averaged 2.6 yards per attempt. Allen's career average is 7.2 yards per attempt. Now look at the Bills in 2018. They had their worst opening day QB starter (Nate Peterman) in a very long time. Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes may have been the worst starting pair of WRs in this team's history. Arguably the worst OL in the team's history. Nate Peterman averaged 3.6 yards per attempt in 2018. What Diggs did against the Chiefs in the playoffs was even worse than the Nate Peterman offensive disaster in 2018. Let that sink in. It's not like that game was a one time thing. Diggs had a habit of not showing up in playoff games against the Chiefs. When the Bills approached him about taking a pay cut, he said he wasn't interested. At that point, the numbers made the decision very easy. Not every highly paid receiver is Stephon Diggs. Some other highly paid WRs actually produce in the playoffs. Think about the Arizona Cardinals, back when they had Kurt Warner as their QB. Not much about that team was special, except their QB, and their WR corps (Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin). Their QB + receivers were good enough to get them to the Super Bowl, and almost good enough for them to win it. It absolutely can make sense to pay big bucks to a WR, assuming you're paying the right guy. -
Nate Wiggins felt a pop in his groin after running 4.29 and is being taken back for evaluation. Already been told he is done for the day.

I used to post these little poems about him, in the style of the old Burma Shave ads they used to put along the side of Old Rte 66, back in the fifties. If you don't know what they are, you can google them. They were really famous 75 years ago. Here's another one: You can’t overstate The Hate for Late Nate I rue the day he was born A waste of a day and money thrown away He sticks in my head like a thorn. Peterman
