Let us know when he transforms into a QB that can beat the Bills without a loaded roster and a stadium sunstroke advanage
-
Great! That means absolutely squat to the argument around trading picks & players and then paying the guy big bucks!

Hard freaking pass We just let our own MLB go who got a fat contract from another team Why would we then go and trade players and/or draft capital to go pay another MLB? Do people just think this is Madden?
-
Well, that saves us from having to cut him after training camp

Jamison Crowder Signs with the Giants

I think that what you said right here is the thing that fans have latched onto all off-season, and frankly what scares us more than any personnel losses or future salary cap constraints. When you have a staff that isn't capable of reading the room or properly adjusting to these types of in-game circumstances, that's when it's hard to envision a Super Bowl victory no matter how great our QB is or how much talent we acquire I was in the stands that day, and it absolutely stood out to be the most lifeless performance I've seen in the 50 or so games I've been to over the past 30 years It felt like the game was over in the first quarter and we were just waiting for it to officially end.

I'm OK with this as a depth move. I mean - he's no Vlad Ducasse though...

I think it was in the Patriots game where Belichick threw the phone - Jaquon Johnson took the direct snap on a fake punt and threw a first down pass to Siran Neal But whatever games he ended up starting last year, he took some atrocious angles on tackling ball carriers. I seem to recall someone taking one to the house, or just a very long gain on one of his whiffs. Just didn't display the instincts or athleticism to be even an NFL-backup caliber safety And whatever he brings on ST can and should be replaced by a rookie who someday might actually be able to take defensive snaps
-
That's about all that I'm going to end up remembering him for. I've tried to block out the games this year where he tried unsuccessfully to take the proper angles to make tackles

Cross off Kumerow with TBD draft pick, and you've got it

I don't think they're cutting Neal, for the simple reason that it's unlikely that we re-sign Taiwan Jones, who plays the opposite gunner position

I'd rather take my chances with Terrel Bernard and Baylon Spector -
Pats still manipulating the cap !

I'm pretty much done giving a crap about any moves that the Patriots make at this point Without Brady, they've been exposed as being a totally mediocre organization Overall, they lack high end talent Their drafting and free agent signings don't come across as being overly strategic Their coaching is an inbred joke, despite having a genius at the head position They are soon to have the worst QB situation in the division And they haven't beaten the Bills in a non-hurricane situation since 2019 They might as well be the Jets at this point -
Wait until JuJu has Mac short-hop him on a few sideline outs

Being a fair-to-middling Madden player does not qualify one to be an NFL GM -
There are plenty of options out there that are relatively inexpensive and don't make me want to throw up in my mouth Darnold is a decent option Heinicke is another Would love Brissett because he can actually play, and is a tough SOB We're not drafting a QB for as long as Josh Allen wants Matt Barkley as the #3

I never want to see this guy take another defensive snap for the Bills

Mike White going to Dolphins to backup Tua
mushypeaches replied to Gunsgoodtime's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's a nice move for that guy - he's got some talent and some moxie, and will definitely see the field next year -
The correct answer here is "c - neither"

Dolphins Pick Up Tua's 5th Year Option
mushypeaches replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have a difficult time understanding why they felt the need to do this right now. What is the real downside of waiting until after next season to see if he's healthy? If he produces and you want to keep him, you still have to pay him either way. But guaranteeing his salary for 2024 when he had 3 concussions last year? Nucking Futs
