I watched the Fins-Ravens game last night and came away decidedly unimpressed by Tua. He hit a lot of short receivers accurately - yes we all know that he can and will throw lots of balls close to the LOS. Luckily, our defense knows how to tackle Intermediate throws for him are a disaster. He doesn't anticipate well, and doesn't throw guys open or attempt difficult throws. We're pretty good at defending those He has guys that can get behind a defense and throw a deep ball. Something tells me we'll play a lot of deep zone and keep everything in front of us And lastly, he was pressured very little against the Ravens. We all know what he looks like under pressure Bills by a billion

Do you have a problem with fans standing the entire game?
mushypeaches replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
You haven't hurt my feelings one bit. I hope you enjoy spending half your energy at games getting frustrated anyone stands up in front of you But if everyone else in your section is standing most of the game, and it's commonly accepted by 99% of the people in your are that that's OK, then you're probably more of the problem than the solution. -

I think it's about time you get off your soapbox there fella. You've made your point about half a dozen times in this thread now, including a snotty response to my direct post. Many of us are saying the same exact thing, and you don't seem to be grasping the concept: There are sections of the stadium for everyone's personal preferences. If you want to stand the whole game, there are places where you can do that, and with next to no one who is going to be upset if you do so If you want to stand for big moments only, there are places where you can do that, and most others will be happy to join you If you want to sit the whole game, there are also places to do that. You are probably pretty willing to pay the $$ to do so as well As another poster also said, most experienced fans know what they're getting into when they purchase their tickets. But don't rain on other people's parade if they want to enjoy the experience in a different way than you do -

I'm more than happy to stand the entire game if that's what everyone else in the section is doing. To me, that means I'm sitting in an area with people who are really into the game like I am, instead of a bunch of twenty-somethings on their phones or old farts who don't even cheer or get excited when we score. That's part of the whole experience that I thoroughly enjoy. I don't need to be drunk, or even half-lit. But I want to be around people who are actively living and dying with every play, who want to get fired up and enjoy it the same way that I do. I recognize that there are others who don't have the same opinions, and for them, I hope they find seats that suit their style We didn't sit the entire playoff game against NE, nor did anyone else in our section. It was a blast, and I wouldn't have it any other way -
Weather is the only home-field advantage that Miami can ever hope for against us If any of their fans want to talk smack about the stadium being loud on Sunday, that will only be due to being half filled with Bills fans

I am pretty much satisfied with the amount of running that the Bills have done the past 2+ seasons. Could we perform better on the runs that we call? Yes Do we need to call more RB carries? No They're consistently winning with the current approach, and with Josh effectively utilizing check downs and RPO's as needed, many times that replaces the traditional running game, especially in the 1st half when the game is still being decided. Additionally, by having 2-3 quality RB's on the team that all bring different skill sets, we can customize our approach to game situations and our opponents. This makes our offense that more effective rather than the old days of thinking you have to win with a one-size-fits-all bell cow RB like Lesean McCoy

Panthers signing Raheem Blackshear off PS

DOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMED!!!!! -
I love what Gilliam brings to this team, but if we're actively trying to get him touches, that means that we're not giving the ball to much more talented offensive players. Teams stopped winning championships based on having multi-talented fullbacks around the time that John Riggins retired.

Broncos are a joke - when you already have players and fans LOUDLY questioning coaching and game management after 2 weeks, you're in a world of hurt and NOT likely to be a playoff team, no matter how talented. "Let Russ cook" has now become "Russ is cooked"

We're all on cloud nine right now after the first couple of primetime blowout wins. But we've still got a freaking gauntlet of games against talented and/or physical teams the next few weeks. If we can make it through the GB game at 5-2, we're in prime position. But it truly is a one-week-at-a-time mentality that's going to get us the Lombardi Trophy. I think that the team and coaching staff knows this and preaches it constantly Next week will be a test, but we've been in this position for. Tua hasn't - and that's going to turn out to be the difference

That split screen stuff is going to send my blood pressure to the moon

It would be more of a fleecing if the Jets actually won some games

I'm a big Chargers fan tonight

Yep, that squad had enough horses to be a playoff team once we put EJ Manuel on the bench' That road loss to a putrid Raiders team was definitely one low point I think I felt worse when I was at the KC game and sitting in that end zone when Bryce Freaking Brown fumbled through the end zone and then Alex Smith bootlegging a fourth down TD when all 11 guys didn't realize that the QB could actually keep the ball Rant over. 2014 was a mirage

A bit early, but Chiefs game flexed to Sunday night?
mushypeaches replied to bigfootindy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't see it happening - CBS would have already fought to have our game in their national 4:25 window - they're not giving it up to NBC- 40 replies

I think the Dolphins fans might want to concentrate on actually selling out their stadium (with their own fans) a few times before they try to step up to the big leagues

Saleh is already grasping at straws, knowing that his team is no better than when he took over a year ago Will be surprised if he makes it past this season

I was watching a Bills-Dolphins game from the 90's and cringing every time Henry Jones was matched up against Keith Jackson. My point is that I can't recall a time when the Bills had someone who could cover a quality TE. Might as well be as mythical as the Loch Ness Monster at this point. So maybe this is why I'm happy to finally have a decent TE worth a 2nd contract

The Bills have won 3 playoff games since they traded for Diggs The Vikings have won zero The Bills have a cost-controlled veteran WR for several years (yes, I know we gave him more money after the trade) The Vikings have a guy who's cheap now, but is going to demand top WR money very soon The Bills have Josh Allen The Vikings have Kirk Cousins I loved the trade then, and I love it even more now

Steelers still have a strong defense But it's hard to watch them on offense with Trubisky and think that they're going to be put up enough points against our defense Especially now with Najee Harris injured. If they think that Mitch with this noodle arm and half-field reads is going to put up 40+ passes and win, they're in for a rough day

This year, more than any other year, I am NOT focused on what other teams are doing. There's ebbs and flows to every season, and the Bills will go through them too Singular focus is on getting the #1 seed. That is the biggest determining factor on if we can make it to the Super Bowl. The rest is just noise

Fish fans don’t even know how to tailgate right
mushypeaches replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
You would think those clowns might learn something just by watching our fans take over their stadium every year -
I remember this game being the loudest I'd ever experienced at the stadium, and that counts a lot of memorable playoff games over the years. I seem to remember stopping them on a critical 4th down in the red zone and the place just exploding

I'd like for Josh Allen this year just to surpass the legendary Mark Sanchez with his 4 playoff wins
