  1. This is nonsense Roberts was consistently strong on returns and got us out to midfield or beyond several times. The days of teams having returners like Devin Hester breaking multiple 100 yard kickoff returns per year are long past. I'll gladly settle for consistent sustained strength Additionally, our punt returns were also strong and McKenzie hit a home run in Week 17 We had a huge yardage season from Bojorquez, who while he has his ups and downs, was definitely more up than down last year Bass broke out as a rookie, hit several long FG's with a decent FG %, and also boomed his kickoffs Our kickoff and punt coverage teams were solid all year and definitely top echelon We didn't have any kicks blocked and our long snapper was perfect We have an excellent special teams unit with strong coaching and focus from head coach and GM What more could we possibly want out of this unit?
  2. It's our turn when we frigging earn it - when we have the optimal combination of skill, luck, coaching and aggressiveness. And not a moment before then We are close with the Bills, and this could very well be their year
  3. I go back and re-watch a lot of old games (the ones on YouTube from the 80's & 90's are gold just for the commercials) Have never watched any replays of playoff losses, including Super Bowls. It's just too much of a downer. The one exception I've made was the '89 WC game vs Cleveland because that was such a great game and birthed the K-Gun.
  4. My god, we only scored 500 points last year! Our RB's suck! Our OL sucks! Better get Daboll to start calling better plays! We can't close out games! The sky is falling! SMFH
  5. To the locals, it will be like if a tree falls in the forest and no one hears
  6. Marv is a HOF coach and I'm not sure I would have ever rated him as high as 5th at any time during his tenure... Jimmy Johnson Bill Parcells Bill Walsh Joe Gibbs Don Shula (although debatable as we always kicked their butts) Mike Holmgren Chuck Noll/Bill Cowher
  7. I really don't get the hate for Singletary. He's an excellent pass-protector, and more than adequate receiver and rusher for the pass-heavy schemes that we run. These are the most critical elements of his role on this team, and as noted, we have had a lot of turnover on the OL and again, the heavy emphasis on pass-blocking skills vs run-blocking. He's just fine, and also comes cheap without a lot of tread on the tires. Let's not be so hasty to run him out of town yet
  8. it's not that - it's that you listed 6 skill players and you can only have 5
  9. What's going to be interesting is as Josh gets older and his athletic abilities start to decline (as to when he's just a great athlete for the position and not a FREAK athlete), how his game evolves. He's worked a ton on being able to read defenses and become a smart passer, and an excellent leader, so I think it's quite possible that his stats never again approach 2020 levels (especially in rushing), but he continues to be a top 5 QB.
  10. I think that this is part of what Bills fans are looking for from a guy that went in the Top 10 of the draft - more impact plays, more stats, etc.
  11. Looks like a lot of this nonsense is really becoming a trend with Miami. After the first year, when everyone was so high on Flores for coaxing a few wins out of a talentless team, their personnel practices seems to be wearing real thin with their actual personnel. If they regress back to a 7 win team this year, it's definitely a possibility that he doesn't see year 4 of his contract.
  12. 2017 pre-season when he sent Marcell Dareus home, then found a taker for his bloated under-performing rear end by mid-season
  13. You know what makes Danny Wegman money? Building stores in affluent areas He's not about to just light a warehouse full of $100 bills on fire paying for a stadium that does nothing for his bottom line
  14. T.O. would have friggin loved to play with Josh Allen
  15. We're not trading assets for Zach Ertz in any way, shape, or form. Nothing happens until he gets released by the Eagles. If he wants to come here and they can make the salary fit, that's great.
  16. I get that they tried to take the classic "opposite direction" approach when hiring Dan Campbell, after having the dessicated hobo corpse of Matt Patricia the last couple of years. But the shelf life for these rah-rah coaches is usually very short. I can't see this guy even lasting 2.5 years once the injuries inevitably pile up and his guys start to tune him out
  17. That's a pretty low bar to clear in Jacksonville, You're apt to see more Florida Gators blue than Jaggywires Teal to begin with
