  1. Well, he'll have plenty of time for strippers and purple drank now...
  2. I don't fear Daboll as an opposing HC. He's grown into an excellent coordinator. But running your own team is an entirely different ball of wax. Control what we can control. The rest is gravy
  3. I don't want to see Jake Fromm until August 2021 at the earliest. I don't care if he's TB12 reincarnated. This season is about Josh Allen and how far we can go Anything else is just unnecessary noise
  4. I keep looking at this guy and wondering if he has any "purple drank" And wondering what we would think if our regime drafted this dipsh*t
  5. Belichick has never won this award. I'd like for our team to have those same levels of success. Who gives a crap about any other trophies or awards not named "Lombardi"
  6. My vote is on Pat Williams far and away. Having that run-stopping DT that can also penetrate would help solve a lot of potential matchup problems that we might have in the playoffs. I feel like that's our biggest risk (besides injury)
  7. I was at that game - thoroughly enjoyable. IIRC that was the game where David White snatched an INT out of the air in the 4th Quarter
  8. It's hard to believe sometimes that we even won 2 games during those years. Thank god for the Colts (and the hubris of the Cowboys)
  9. He is just money for this team, and sets the tone for us on Special Teams as a whole. Totally unselfish, and a pro's pro
  10. Wow! Can we have the LeGarrette Blount conversation all over again??
  11. You usually can't have it both ways. A lot of it has to do with the type of OL play that we have. Currently, the guys we have are pretty good at pass protecting, which in this era, I value a lot more than a bunch of filthy Incognitos. Again, we're trying to score 30+ points per game, not play Jauron-ball and win 17-16 but have a glorious edge in time of possession
  12. Good grief - when will people recognize that the team, as currently constructed, is playing the way that modern NFL teams want to play? Our young RB's are in the roles that they should be in, and getting the right amount of touches that are appropriate for a PASSING offense. Are they perfect? No Are they learning on the job? Yes Are they costing us games? No Are they young, affordable and getting better? YES So no, we don't need every established and expensive RB that comes on the market. Money better spent on the OL, WR's, and ultimately Josh's second contract That is all
  13. Why don't you see if you can get Butch Rolle to come out of retirement
  14. Wentz has been fools gold for a couple of years now. His play is sloppy and leadership skills non-existent. Wouldn't be surprised if he's out of the league in 3 years
  15. I have no problems with having TJ Yeldon as an insurance policy at a very fungible position
  16. We don't need to try to avoid any team We have the talent and playmakers to beat anyone in the playoffs and should definitely not be taking a scared or tentative approach to Week 17 rest or any of that nonsense. Prepare with confidence - the team will feed off of it
  17. Meh They got up for a divisional opponent. The Jets do that too. Drew Lock is never going to be much more than the 25th rated QB in the league. I don't see him beating us. Vic Fangio is certainly not out-coaching anybody on game days I get it - any given Sunday, but I'm pretty confident about beating this version of the Broncos
  18. I guess I look pretty good for buying that AJ Klein jersey... LOL
  19. This is priceless - I want to be standing next to you in a playoff game when we send Micah Hyde out to kick the game winning FG
  20. So the point here is that with the Covid roster restrictions, you need at least 6 days to bring a guy in. If anything happens to your kicker within that timeframe, you're stuck with the guys that you have on the roster. What I'm suggesting is that going into late season + playoff games, what does it cost us to have that replacement guy already in the building and on the Practice Squad. I don't care if you have to get a new guy every week because some other team poaches the one you have. It's a position that can make a tangible difference in the outcome of a game if you don't have the guy that can perform in that very specific situation. Would you want the Bills to have to go for a TD on the last play, down by 2 points, from the 15 yard line? Or would you like to have a guy on the roster that can hit a 32 yard FG 90% of the time?
  21. Seeing full well the escalation of COVID and its random impacts on NFL teams and schedules, first I'm glad that the Bills have been diligent with protocols, and have been proactive with isolating one of their QB's (Fromm) all season. Not that he would have done great in a situation like the Broncos just went through on Sunday, but you get the picture. At what point would it seem prudent to sign a reserve place-kicker and stash him on the Practice Squad for this type of insurance? With 15 spots on the PS, it's not like we're really hurting the team by devoting one to an emergency kicker. But I'd certainly rather have one going into the playoffs than be forced to scramble or heaven forbid, cost us a game if Bass can't play. I think it's the next step of being sufficiently prepared and ready - and maybe ahead of the curve if other playoff-bound teams are also thinking this way. C'mon Beane - get'r done!
  22. I don't think he's playing this year. We already have 1 inactive tight end per week, and Gilliam has done a serviceable job in his place. Plus, I don't recall Sweeney having a special teams role either. See you in training camp, kid
