  1. And we can all hope that Stephen Ross remains the Dolphins owner for decades to come
  2. Really makes me wish we were getting the Pats earlier in the year. Although Mac could be injured/shell-shocked by mid-to-late season too
  3. I would love if the Dolphins actually mortgaged their future to trade for Watson. But there's a part of me that probably thinks just having them stick with Tua and Flores is better for the Bills in the long run
  4. This definitely gets filed under the "who cares" column. It's been 15-20 years since anyone relied on ESPN for any insightful commentary
  5. John Hannah is 70 years old and can probably still play better
  6. I think that Brandon Beane, as well as most of the commenters on this board like their chances with the 6th round pick being more productive...
  7. but, but, but, but - weren't we supposed to cut our overpaid ST demon LB who can also actually play LB pretty decently for a backup?? SMFH
  8. Yes, the Patriots failed at yet another first round pick, but aren't the Rams a greater failure for sending draft capital for a guy that probably gets cut in a week?
  9. "Let me tell you something..." began every sentence
  10. I'll be interested to see exactly how many defensive players they have ranked ahead of Bruce. I've been following the list a bit (Athletic subscription is well worth the $), but here's who I think is still to come: Dick Butkus Lawrence Taylor Reggie White Ray Lewis Ronnie Lott Ray Nitschke There's probably a couple more that I'm missing but it's a very small list of folks who debatably played defense better than our beloved BRUUUUUCE!
  11. MY GROIN!!!
  12. Ted Washington Oh wait, I'm still having PTSD from watching Jeff Wright tackle NFC running backs
  13. I'm not doing a haiku But we are going 20-0 vs the Fish in the '20's
  14. I'm happy that Wilson & Mac were the two QB's to get drafted by our divisional rivals. They scare me the least out of the whole bunch
  15. I'm glad that in hindsight I can identify the last season of the drought in 2016 with the bitter end of a long marriage (20 years) It's much more enjoyable to be single, and free to enjoy the Bills every single Sunday, and with the comfort of lots of other crazy friends The growth and success of the last 4 seasons have an extra personal meaning for me But holy crap, those years were a raging tire fire that can't help bring out a little PTSD in even the most well-adjusted fans! Here's to our Super Bowl finally arriving this year!
  16. I don't see Butler making this team, regardless of the cap impact. They're gonna roll with Star, Harry, Zimmer, and Oliver as main line DT's We have enough DE's as well, and Addison's spot is also less than secure And I'm definitely OK with both of these things provided our young guys can ball out
  17. Almost none - the way we're humming along in camp, injuries are our biggest potential enemy - not readiness
  18. Just another footnote in the logbook of the great culture they're building down there in Miami... When they go 7-10 this year, Flores likely doesn't survive into Year 4 New coach comes in with a new system, Tua struggles in his Year 3, and they look to draft someone else Lather, rinse, and repeat. Meanwhile, we go 20-0 in the '20's against them
  19. I wish that we could play a full schedule of just the Giants, Jets, Dolphins, Bengals, Lions, Broncos, Jaguars, Texans, Eagles, and Raiders. We wouldn't exactly be playoff-tested, but I like our chances at a #1 seed
  20. I would enjoy seeing rankings of NFL owner hairstyles, just to see where Mark Davis, the lost Stooge ranks
  21. This jives with the article from the Athletic today on ranking teams based on QB tiers. We are one of the teams that face the most QB's this year that are projected in the lowest tier, especially with all 3 of our divisional opponents being ranked that way. Offense continues to be Top 5, Defense rises to Top 10 - hope for minimal injuries and have a great shot at going to the Super Bowl
  22. If there's any year to spend every single penny we have under the cap, this is it. Rolling money into 2022 doesn't move the needle - taking your best shot at the Super Bowl in 2021 is the absolute strategic objective
  23. I'm not sure I recall a rookie kicker having that strong of an all-around season. Yes, he started slow, but once he righted the ship, it was easy to see why we spent a draft choice on a guy that can be rock solid for 10-15 years. Those guys don't grow on trees
  24. There's no way that Wilson should be ranked above Allen. Yes, there's the sustained success element that Allen doesn't have, but I watched the Bills-Seahawks game last year, and I'm pretty sure who the better QB was that day, and will be this season
  25. Let's correct that to 4 out of 4 and we'll be closer to the reality of what happened
