  1. I'm all in with drafting an OL at #32 The guy could be some kind of Frankenstein combination of Mike Williams, Jerry Crafts, Cody Ford, Cyrus Kouandjio, Ed Wang, and a bunch of other scrubs that I can't remember, and I'll still be basking in the Super Bowl afterglow
  2. It's hard to envision NBC wanting anything to do with the Tenn-Jax game unless it's absolutely forced upon them. I would almost see that game as one of those that gets flexed to Saturday - give it a national TV window but not in the premo Sunday night slot If anything, I could foresee TB-ATL - one last chance for Collinsworth to gush about Brady "now here's a guy, Tom Brady, you just can never count him out" Blah blah blah, lather rinse & repeat Det-GB has legs too, if both teams can stay relevant through Week 18. That might just be another Saturday flex too
  3. I had the pleasure/misfortune of actually listening to the Vikings home broadcast last Saturday. I love a good entertaining home team announcer (e.g. Rick Jeanneret), but these guys are just tools. Not particularly sharp ones either.
  4. Boogie needs to figure out if he wants to put the effort into being a stronger, more disciplined, and more motivated player. Having Shaq Lawson on the team as an example of a similar type of player who didn't have much production in his first 2-3 years either might help him Or he might just be John McCargo 2.0
  5. After the inevitable mis-fire or overthrow in the 1st quarter, we always call him Sugar Rush Josh
  6. The Bills are closing in on an impressive statistic, and with a win against the Bears on Saturday, could be in some rarified air. Based solely on the LAST game played against the other 31 teams in the league, the Bills would be 26-5. The only teams that we are on a losing streak against currently are: Indy Jax Philly Arizona Tampa Chicago Here's the whole list, including notes on the year of last victory, and last defeat
  7. I don't see them doing anything here, related to the WR moves. Brown will play again this week and that will be his 3 elevations Beasley will get elevated the last 3 weeks of the season Justin Murray is probably gone if/when Ike Boettger gets fully healthy Xavier Rhodes or Cam Lewis will get released once Benford is off IR
  8. The Cardinals are in a bad position of their own making. They're married to an average QB with all kinds of issues and now a big time injury They're married to an underwhelming coach that was supposed to do great things and hasn't I wish we could play them 2X/year
  9. I'm fascinated - so bringing in TO for a workout costs us more time and energy than any of our other practice squad players, or even a guy like Tanner Gentry who hasn't even sniffed a target yet? And we should just outright dismiss a guy that can still run a 4.4 who's still in top shape and had a 10K yards HOF career?
  10. File this under "who gives a rat's ass"? I'll worry about Tua when he passes the eye test and shows an ounce of grit or leadership. Yes, the stats are all lovely, but he's not anywhere near the QB and OVERALL PLAYER that Josh Allen is
  11. Today is really our only best shot at getting the #1 seed, especially with the cupcake schedule the Chiefs have the rest of the way I just had a wave of PTSD after being at the Vikings debacle...
  12. Wait - I thought we were terrible at running the ball, our OL is trash, our RB are slow, and our new coordinator is clueless?
  13. I got into this argument last weekend with my cousin, who is a crazy delusional lifelong Dolphins fan: He stubbornly clung to Tua's statistics vs Josh's for this year and basically said that Tua was the better QB and the Bills would never win with Josh (because he throws too many INT's) I still can't get past Tua not passing the "eye test" for me. Yes, he's accurate Yes, he throws a nice catchable ball But he still seems fragile and not meant for the long haul. He slides to avoid hits or runs out of bounds He doesn't fire up his teammates or inspire a lot of leadership This is the first year he's had any sustained success, and that's with missing multiple games or parts of games due to injury Regression and injuries are going to hit this team hard I'll wait to anoint Tua and the Dolphins until they can prove it in the playoffs
  14. 2 tickets for Detroit Thanksgiving - Section 243 Row 1 - $225 each
  15. I believe that Bill Polian when he was GM of the Colts was asked a similar question about potentially losing Peyton Manning: His paraphrased response: "If we lose Peyton, we're f***ed, and we don't practice f***ed"
  16. I'm going to the game this Sunday and I really have no interest in seeing Case Keenum play
  17. We're always going to have dead cap space - it's the nature of the beast. $16M is probably league average (says me without doing any research)
