This is what’s so stupid about the ring culture. As someone who seriously doubted the Allen pick because of his passing in college, you have to be the biggest moron ever to say this at this point. Despite the Bills have the second most successful run in their history, the only knock is we didn’t win the SB. But Allen has made this team a legit SB contender every year. Losman couldn’t win with his arm. Neither could Edwards, Holcomb, and the millions of other bad qbs we had before Allen. If Allen doesn’t win a SB, his passing will be the last reason why.

He would have been a huge upgrade over what we have. Wonder how much he got Let’s settle down the Henne played well. He had 23 yards on 7 attempts. But he didn’t completely crap himself I guess. But that easily could have cost them a SB. I just don’t get why these teams settle on backups.

We have one of the worst qbs rooms after Allen. It’s amazing how many fans just discount this. This is a SB contender who has a guy on Barkley (starisicually one of the worst qbs of the last 20 years) and a dime a dozen journeyman in Kyle Allen. It’s so wild how qb is the most important position in sports and get paid so much than they every other position yet when it comes to the backup qb, we will settle for sales bin at dollar general. I hate our backup qbs (nice guys, terrible nfl qbs). Mitch is a terrible starting qb but at least he has some skills and has played in big games. I can’t believe this is the best they can do. Tyrod is MArgot Robbie to these scrubs (nice guys).

I would do bad things to have that nerd calling plays for Allen. Allen would be a monster with McDaniel. Add to that they added a guy who is widely respected as one of the best DCs in football? Easily top 5 on paper. Now whether it works on the field is a much different story.

Miami has one of the best rosters in the NFL. Mike Grier’s brother has done a great job. They might have a top 5 coaching staff. But Tuan’s health is a huge question mark. so I would I be shocked if Miami is a big time contender this year and has a better record than us? Not really. But Miami teams are soft and will fade late in the season. I cannot picture a scenario where that team wins a cold weather game.

It’s so wild that DC and MLB of a top 3 defense isn’t a big loss to some. Kinda hilarious. Reminds me of the London Fletcher makes too many tackles down field stupid days. but I do agree other than MLB (it’s going to be a surprise for some of you) and backup QB (not a Kyle Allen fan), we are at worst the Same and mostly likely better. I think our rb depth is better but DS was a good all around back. And still gotta see it with the receivers. but I love being more under the radar this year. I can see us having a worse regular season record (division is going to be really tough) but making a deeper playoff run. Hopefully, Vegas deep.

Teams overrate draft picks. Personally, I’d rather have a top 3 d linemen over possibly the next 1st round bust. And they will come to an agreement soon enough. He isn’t leaving KC. Chris Jones is worth every penny. They have 2 of the best players at 2 of the most important positions in football.

Eckler is a million times better than any Baltimore running back. Lamar makes the running game special. also, it’s PFF, but it has Baltimore’s oline ranked 4th and the Chargers 9th. How did the guy who has way worse record than Lamar and zero playoff wins proven he can win more than him? That makes zero sense. And I’d lean towards Herbert but there are so many double standards in the way Herbert is viewed than Jackson, who has a MVP, much better record, and a playoff win.

That was the knock against him coming out of college. Seems harsh that because a guy is quiet and an introvert it’s a bad thing but sometimes you do need to be the leader to get in your teammates’ faces. Personally, I’d rather play with a guy like Herbert than a dude like Marino who just would constantly scream at everyone. Allen has the perfect blend of fire and leadership. Honestly, I’d like him to get in Diggs face more.

But the chargers always get talked about as SB contenders every year and they barely have a winning record with Herbert (flawed stat but elite qbs who make this money should have better than a 25-24 record). I really like him but if Jackson choked a way a 27-0 playoff lead, he would be getting crushed. I think Herbert gets the biggest pass in the league.

For this millionth time, this is not how it works at all. Unless you are going to do this for every top qb that gets signed. “Wow, Dan Marino is a steal!” and he is a stud but it’s funny how Lamar Jackson gets crushed for not winning enough while everyone loves Herbert.

One thing you can’t say about old man plastic face Jones is he isn’t cheap. Diggs needs to get over himself. He might be overrated but they have a top 5 defense and he’s a a part of if.

I would be like equivalent of a rb getting like 600 yards rushing also isn’t one of the reasons you pay a qb is they evaluate your team? It is very rare when you watch a Giants game snd think Jones is the reason the team wins Barkley is held back by the giants crappy oline and the terrible passing attack led by Jones. You kinda made the point of why Barkley is more important. No team fears Jones so they stack boxes and try to shut down Barkley. Barkley has played with a bottom tier qb his whole career. Imagine him with a good qb teams actually feared. He would be even better than now and he’s still really good.

He had to protect his qb rating (higher than Kelly’s haha, what a joke). But he also won us that playoff game (he passed for like 100 yards while that bum Flutie only passed for like 400 yards!).
