Cowherd is on my list of people I want to punch. He caters to big markets. His gambling picks were ok though. I really liked Van Pelt and Russillo.

The only difference is NE and Pitt had better options in front of Brady and Big Ben (Tommy Maddox went to the playoffs and was comeback player of the year). Injuries forced their hands. i think Allen should sit as long as possible. But man, we should notice a difference in his ability vs. 2 former 5th rounders with very average abilities.

Honestly, besides PTI, all sports talk shows are trash. It’s hilarious that people bash ESPN but it’s not like FS1 is coming close to making a dent. Pretty much i watch live sports, PTI, and listen to podcasts. But try as some of this cults might, the nfl and ESPN are going to be the Kings no matter what.

Maybe if we had Sammy and Dareus at our two of our biggest positions of weaknesses, maybe we beat the Jags and make a run in a crappy AFC. and I like our secondary but we went from 6th in 2016 to 20th last year. Basically we defied all logic in making the playoffs last year. Of course, missing the playoffs 17 years in a row defies logic too.

Sammy - highest scoring team in the nfl, signed by one of the best offensive coaches, in the playoffs. Our wrs sucked last year. Dareus - helped turn the Jags rub defense around and ours sucked and trade. Nearly went to SB. Darby - starter on Sb team ragland - starter on playoff team abd this doesn’t count Bradham, Woods, & Robey other key players on playoff teams.

Again, he missed less games than Allen in college. And you should hold your breath any time a qb gets hit.

By that’s what’s funny. Whaley’s 2014 team that went 9-7 would have killed this past year’s 9-7 team that made the playoffs. i think everyone has just decided that Whaley sucks ;not saying you) and McBeane is god. They broke the drought so I get it to a point. But that was a Jauron type season with a few more breaks. I don’t trust their ability to know offense and think our head coach has too much power. They got got at least 2 more seasons but I think it is more than fair to question them if we got backwards and/or Allen isn’t good. JMO and I know I’m in the minority.

I just think the whole Rosen after Kaepernick thing scared teams. They want robots. I’m not saying Allen is a robot but he doesn’t seem the type to speak about social issues. They are are many different types of leaders. Brady screams at his coaches and teammates. Rodgers seems like he can be aloof. Cam is a front runner. Goff seems like a stoned surfer. Players follow talent. And I think Rosen learning under Fitz is going to be amazing for him.

For the record John, I always enjoy your optimism and hope you’re right. But to play devil’s advocate. 1) Mahomes is in a great situation with a great offensive coach. If you’re saying all air raid qbs don’t work out, couldn’t you say the same thing about sub 60% qbs from small conferences? Not a big track of guys like Allen turning into stars at the next level. 2). Whaley traded down, picked EJ, used the pick he got to pick Kiko (runner up ROY), & then traded him for Shady. That’s pretty damn impressive though EJ didn’t work out. He never got another chance to pick a guy and was said to really like Watson.

Buffalo just needs a new convention center period. That thing is so outdated and with its Renaissance, it is badly needed and I bet one is coming.

Just curious how you determine it’s how it’s highly likely Mahomes won’t turn into a good qb? and if they messed up on our highest drafted qb ever, why do they get a second swing? Whaley got to draft one qb in the 1st and went 9-7 and constructed a much more talented team.

Not one teammate ever said a negative thing about him. Not one. He’s not a robot, speaks his mind, and wore a F Trump hat. That’s it. My question is if Rosen was more of a robot, who gets drafted higher, him or Allen?

He deserves credit if he took the wrong Josh? and we always try to rank these college qbs? There’s a chance that Watson or Mahomes is better than anyone in this year’s highly rated class.

He seems to target all of Whaley’s players. Sammy was part of the team that had one of the biggest turnarounds in nfl history and highest scoring offense. Dareus helped the Jags run defense improve greatly. Darby was a starting cb on a SB team. Ragland started for a playoff team.

Prayers to his family and what a terrible story. Sounds like a great guy. but what is the point of bashing football players here? Warrick Dunn’s mother was killed as a police officer when he was a kid so he built houses for people who couldn’t afford them in his offseason in her memory (Deshaun Watson grew up in one). I think that qualifies as a hero. and honestly, your parents should be your hero. Well, I looked up to certain people growing up, my mom was always my hero. It is a crazy story. Think about what the kids at his school must be going through. Gotta worry if he didn’t have a gun, this probably never happens.

No offense but this is based off nothing. I think Rosen will be the best qb in this draft. So him going 4th in the draft is a slide. I think Rosen is the QB in this draft who reminds me of Rodgers. And I hope I’m wrong about this.

Funny that the majority of those guys who didn’t fit the “team first” mentality went to the playoffs and one won a SB. This whole BS character culture is overblown. It’s also funny that we just signed a bunch of guys who got popped for PEDs but I guess they fit the culture.
