Why is it so bad? We drafted a qb 7th overall, forced him to play too early, and surround him with scrubs while really talented former Bills wrs are doing well. sammy didn’t “fit the culture.” So instead of of Sammy, we had Jordan “drop a condom, make fun of Buffalo because he sucks” Matthews, Kelvin “fat, can’t separate, calls out a former MVP, can’t line up right, doesn’t try, & hides like a Female dog when confronted” Benjamin, and Zay “fighting for Jesus” Jones. Culture upgrade!!! also, Sammy is 2 years younger than Kelvin and not even 2 years younger than Zay.

Agree with all this. Problem is it’s a terrible qb class so that could be really tempting plus he is losing Johnson. I do love KJ though. Such a good And exciting UB team. Love their coach.

He’s raw but he is 100% getting drafted. He throws some amazing passes, especially on the run. There was a Texans scout at an establishment I was at. He thinks he needs another year (as do I), but this year’s qb is super weak. Dude is a stud and UB has a great coach.

I think the Bills beat the SB champs that year too. the Bills are always the feisty underdogs and randomly pull upsets. I don’t think the Vikes are so super team. I don’t see any chance of the Bills winning but I won’t be completely shocked.

Definitely agree about beer. It’s insane. But football is a billion dollar business. I was in Miami for the opener and tickets were $40. Bills tickets are cheaper than Sabres tickets. It’s not that bad and players deserve the money. Just not Davis.

Fair enough. I don’t think the difference is that big between those teams (SJ=Benjamin, Woods and Zay both 2nd rounders, Clay > EJ’s TE, McCoy, etc)

Dude, it was garbage team. Shell defense, try to stop big plays, chew up the clock. It was how Blake Bortels was a top 5 franchise qb a few years ago. Garbage time. great news is he has a chance to prove himself this week against one of the best defenses in the nfl. but since I posed it, who had the better rookie start - EJ or Allen? Allen’s stats (obviously not all on him) aren’t completely awful because of garbage time when the Chargers were just trying to catch their flight. that said, as awful as their development plan was with Allen, they can’t plug him now.

I love Fitz. I also feel sad because I’m sure this Fitz train will end badly. Dude has gotten the most out his ability and had a nice nfl career. Good for him.

You’re right. They couldn’t afford me but I’d volunteer my services because I love this team. the Bills can put on clinics on how not to develop a qb properly. I didn’t have high hopes for Allen but I thought they at least had a plan this time.

This is the problem. Allen can get told what to do until he is blue in the face. He has years of bad habits. By forcing him to play too early, on a crappy team, we are forcing him back to his bad habits. The best thinf woild would be to have a veteran qb and have Allen sit as long as possible to refine his mechanics. But this team completely screwed that up. The Bills are doing the exact opposite of what the Chiefs did with Mahomes. Not great Bob.

Culture is such a BS word. Culture is great when a team wins. I’m sure there a bunch of good, hard working guys on this team. They just have little talent.
