Of course we realize he’s a rookie. But the problem is he was picked by a staff who has been completely dreadful in picking offensive players. He was a 56% passer in the WAC. What if they just completely took a bad qb? But let’s say they took the right guy. They have shown the exact opposite of how the Chiefs developed Mahomes. They had no plan. And based on their offensive moves so far, why should we believe they will solve this? Trade up for the next Zay Jones? Trade for the next Jordan Matthews or Kelvin Benjamin. The reason there is no talent around Allen is because of the decision makers some of you are blindly trusting to get it right.

Allen is the lowest rate qb in the entire nfl.

He’s been worse than EJ to start his career. I certainly am for giving him more time but ugh, this team has screwed up a qb’s development again.

Our coach doesn’t understand modern nfl. I think 8 of the top 10 run defenses last year didn’t even make the playoffs. if anything, you should want teams to run the ball. A lot harder to score. And if Star is so good that teams can’t run the play, all they have to do is spread the field and he is unplayable. Again, he is fine at what he does. But paying that much to a blocker eater in a passing league is a stupid use of money. As much as Dareus stop caring at the end, you could use him on 3 downs.

OMG. We are playing a ton of money to a guy who takes up blockers and makes no impact plays. He is unplayable on certain downs and besides our high school offense, this is a passing league. star is fine in his role but unfortunately, it is 2018 and not 1978. This regime is so behind the times.

This team is super boring and we’re fully on board with the EJ Manuel development of Josh Allen.

Honestly, what almost bothers me more than the blowouts is the majority of games under SM are just boring. It is Jauronball 2.0. Sadly, I’ve gotten so use to the Bills losing that I almost can tolerate an entertaining loss. I don’t think I got excited once Sunday. And this seems to be the majority of the games. It makes it somewhat tolerable if they won but for the most part, it is awful football compared to the rest of the nfl.

It’s so hard with wrs because it’s such a dependent position. He “might” be a better player on another team. But it seems like a very average talent. This regime is absolutely clueless on evaluating wrs. Jordan Matthews, Coleman, Jones, Benjamin, etc. and the far we traded up for Jones because we had his college coach instead of tdtayinf put and taking JuJu (who I wanted) is such a terrible move. Ugh!

Haha, this poll. I bet there was a poll back in the day where fans would rather have JP than Rodgers (I probably would have picked JP back then!). That was a bad game for Mahomes and it would have been one of the best Bills qb games of the last 20 years. EJ threw 2 tds and 0 ints and left the field with a lead against NE. In his second start, he threw for nearly 300 yards in a last minute comeback against the #2 defense in the nfl that year. My main point is let things play out.

Antonio Brown did fine going from the MAc to the nfl. Receiver is the most dependent position in sports. If OBJ and Sammy got switched in the draft, their careers are completely different. I wish I could have bet money on you picking a white receiver! ?

Honest question: were Allen’s 2 starts better than EJ’s first 2? The key with allen will be being consistent.

But you could go with other guys like Rodgers and Brady who didn’t play as rookies. Peyton struggles big time, along with a lot of other qbs. Alex Smith threw 1 td and 11 ints. The quarterback position so difficult it’s hard to conclude things one way or another so quickly.
