  1. Honestly, I don’t know what Sammy will do because I don’t know what Mahomes will do. I will say I think Sammy has much better value than Hill in fantasy. If there was a way to bet this, I’d would bet on Sammy (he would get the odds in his favor). but Sammy played on a high school offense here with terrible throwing qbs. He’s making $16 million/ year. He is clearly valued highly.
  2. I love good stories but why is there this hype with Reilly? Guy had 1,200 yards and 6 tds in 4 years. Nebraska didn’t have studs at qb but he wasn’t even the leading receiver on the team. Honestly, why are people so fired up about him? Is this like a Martin Nance situation? And for the record, I hope he is a total stud. I just don’t get it.
  3. I’d say Kelce was their number 1 with Smith. He’s possibly the best TE with Gronk’s injuries. That might change with Mahomes. And Sammy had a better first 2 years with crap at qb than Hill, who is a one dimensional type wr. Alex Smith is Joe Montana compared to our poop fest of qbs. so if anyone wants to wager on Sammy vs any Bills wrs production this year, PM me. I do think the one thing that is clear is if Mahomes doesn’t succeed in KC, there are no excuses. Dude has a great situation to play in
  4. He had 57 yards passing. Dear lord, the bar for qb play in Buffalo is so low. every QBs benefits from playing. The problem is fans and media don’t have the patience to let a young qb struggle. They are willing to take the growing pains. Guys are learning the hardest position in sports and fans expect them to master it in one training camp.
  5. Sammy was on a playoff team Yup, clearly paying a guy $16 million/ year is the definition of a number 2 wr. Or their hands were forced because they lost Sammy. But clearly, Andy Reid is a dumb offensive coach. Our head coach is on his 2nd OC in 2 years.
  6. Look, I wasn’t a big Tyrod Guy. I thought it was time to move on (wasn’t a big fan of the draft pick but that’s another story). But: how many times do teams move on from a qb who threw 51 tds to 16 ints, was one of the best running qbs (1,500 yards and 14tds), helped ended a 17 year playoff drought, and made 2 pro bowls. We we all know how flawed TT is but he definitely had some positives too and it’s pretty easy to see why the national media thinks it’s a step back. We forced him into an offense that didn’t fit him and traded away his best receiver a month before the season. Again, I was ready to move on but the Bills did him no favors. and Barnwell is a snooze fest to listen too but he is pretty spot on with his analysis. The Bills making the playoffs last year was a complete fluke (which is about time for us). We mastered Jauron ball. Turnovers are very inconsistent and our offense seems to have taken a big hit and it wasn’t that good to begin with. So so if you are a betting person, you would bet for the Bills to regress. That said, even if they do, if Allen shows signs of being a nfl starter, it will be a successful season. Yeah, I definitely would have the Jags as a regression time. Unless you bought into Bortles becoming a better qb (I don’t). Their division will be much tougher this year and they have a tougher schedule on paper.
  7. Yup. I just don’t know if he physically can. Carolina sucked at wr last year and were willing to trade him in a playoff race. It’s a shame because he was great in college and his rookie year. Fans underestimate how important separation is. Once it’s gone, you’re in trouble (see Dez).
  8. Thank you. The Rams tried to sign Sammy and then immediately replaced him by trading a 1st round pick. They know how important his role on that team was. Love Woods but he doesn’t scare defenses.
  9. I’m not sure what you are arguing. I named some of the greatest qbs of this generation who benefited from sitting. It’s not 100% but man, it seems like guys do benefit from learning at first. My god, stupid people were calling Goff a bust after 7 games.
  10. So Sammy gets no credit for the Rams improvement? You honestly think there is as much room for Gurley if Woods and Kupp are their top wrs? Tyrod won’t have had better numbers throwing to Sammy? Andy Reid just decided to blow money on Sammy? Why is it so hard to admit Sammy is a very talented wr? Good wrs don’t always need to put up monster numbers to have an impact. It’s also seems that Bills fans always want to blame good players for the faults of the team. I blame our bad qbs and outdated offense for Sammy’s production (injuries hurt too) more than Sammy’s talent. And I think if we’re being honest, we would all feel better about our offense if Sammy was our number 1. The pick was better before the Rams were the most improved team in the nfl and made the playoffs. But Sammy provided zero help with that.
  11. Winston was a day 1 starter. He has all the tools and is football smart. But my god, he is a dumb human being. It will be real interesting to see if TB pays him big money. They probably have to but I won’t trust him at all as a fan.
  12. And Sammy shouldn’t have said that. But maybe grown people shouldn’t be throwing insults at a 23 year old.
  13. Isn’t this how we ended up with Zay? We hired his college coach. I wanted JuJu and I’m not giving up on Zay but man, it’s the nfl. Pick the best player. given the receivers on the roster, why in the world do you draft 2 more slot wrs? MCCloud wasn’t even the best slot wr on Clemson. I’d feel a lot better about these receivers if they rolled the dice on St Brown from Notre Dame. If that guy blows up with Aaron Rodgers, I’m going to lose it haha!
  14. Bills fans = Sammy Watkins suck Sean McVay = trades a potential high 2nd and a player for him Andy Reid = signs him on the first day of free agency for $16 million/ year Bills fans = Sammy still sucks and we can replace him with Jordan Matthews and Kelvin Benjamin
  15. Yeah, we need to see this in the regular season. The rumor is his knees are in rough shape and he wasn’t a guy that could separate to begin with. KB isn’t a number 1 wr and that has been the problem with the offense. A bunch of 2s and lowers and no speed.
  16. Good point. Honestly, I’m sure if they wanted to fire him but Were kinda forced to. I also can’t believe one of these alleged cheated on husbands didn’t come after him.
  17. Aaron Rodgers Tom Brady Eli Manning Big Ben (injury forced him to start) Drew Brees Carson Palmer Phil Rivers Jared Goff kirk Cousins Matt Stafford no offense but you couldn’t be more wrong on this. In fact, it seems like most of the really good QBs sat at first.
  18. He didn’t bang Kim or the daughters right? Dude might be creep but that’s his personal business. As long as a guy isn’t a criminal and is good st their job, I could care less what they do in their private lives (assuming it’s not affecting my life).
  19. The worst part is some fans are rooting for Sammy to fail so they can be right. I would trade our entire receiving core for Sammy and so would all the Bills qbs.
  20. That’s really the right answer. I will I’ll say if you spend a 1st on a qb, you should be willing to give them a minimum of 2 years as a starter. BS. EJ threw 2 tds in his first start and left the field with a lead against the Pats. He threw for nearly 300 yards against the number 2 defense Carolina and helped led a comeback win.
  21. Jared Goff had worse numbers across the board than EJ. He led the highest scoring offense last year. its an interesting topic for sure. I think guys like EJ and Allen would both be better waiting to play, especially on a questionable team. I think there is a ton you learn by sitting behind a vet. It could be something as simple as learning to command a huddle. plus with how stupidly impatient fans and media are, they are so quick to give up on a young qb. Confidence can make or break these guys. We can go back and forth if EJ would have been a better qb if he waited to play. But his development was trash and there was no plan to let him grow into the position. I feel like if we do the same thing with Allen, there will be a similar result. i don’t know if he will succeed or not, but the Chiefs have done a great job with Mahomes (I think he will be good). Let him sit for a year behind a very smart qb, have one of the best offensive coaches to coach him, and surround him with a ton of talent. I think putting Allen on the field with this poor offensive cast is setting him up to fail.
  22. Didn’t wrap up and complete the process. Just was trying to go for the big hit.
