A better qb performance and maybe that game is over earlier. Defense and the run game won that game. He threw 2 screen passes that drive that were more than half of his passing yards through the entire game. They were afraid to have him throw the ball. the bigger point is that minus the top qbs, in the ultimate team game, qb win-loss records are pretty stupid. Bortles “won” like 13 games last year and Drew Brees went 7-9 in back to back years. It’s a stupid stat and pretty lazy to say Allen is 2-2 (though I’ll credit him for playing well in the Minnesota game). I’m generally patient with qbs. As a defender of JP and EJ, I wanted them to get more time. Looking back at JP for instance, in hindsight, we probably should have taken Rodgers the next draft. i didn’t want Allen in the first place but I feel like he deserves at least another year barring more games like the Titans.

I mEan the Bills always trump every other sporting event for me. But if I wasn’t a Bills fan, they would probably be the last team I would watch. They are a boring team.

The more I think about this, no way are the Pats losing. Sadly.

Allen’s 82 passing yards are the reason we won last week. For sure.

Yup, that was a perfect pass to Foster (who should never be playing in the nfl in the first place, great job with our offensive personnel). But what point is a big arm if you never take deep shots? I’d rather have Allen throw a long interception that acts like a punt than this ? fest offense.

Fair. And I’m honest and wanted the Jets to draft Allen. He looks exactly like I thought he would. Awesome physical skills though. This guy is a genius!!!

It shows you grow up in a different part of Buffalo than me. I think the term rust belt is insulting and I think every idiot who talked crap on twitter to Watkins is a little person. I love how a 23 year old football player has to be more mature than 40+ year old adults. He works hard. Real student of the game. Plays the game the right way. Real gym rat. Eli isn’t great but he gets the ball to his receivers. Receiver is most dependent position in football. ODJ would have lost his mind here and no one talk about him being a HOFer.

We let our qb who led the 31st ranked passing attack go to upgrade. We are averaging like 100 yards passing in modern football!!! I can’t believe Allen didn’t make the cut. What a hater!

Or they know he’s a respectable analyst and don’t have a temper tantrum or name call because they didn’t praise a Bills player. This is like hockey dads are created. If Allen was on the Jets, we would be laughing at him and his 82 yard game.

If you think ODJ is the same player on the Bills, you’re living in a fantasy world. For all of his faults, Eli got the ball to him. If the situation was reversed, we would talk ODJ would have lost his mind playing here and Sammy would be a star.

I definitely get this way of thinking and am somewhat on board with it. That said, I don’t think you ever lose but putting special players on your team. Barkley is a special player plus he is great in the pass game. Obviously I’m not as high on Allen but I think I might actually like Herbert better. Need to watch more of him though but he hastens phtsical skills and production in a big conference that I like.

Not if they end up with a top qb next year. I think Herbert of Oregon is pretty good.

Harrison is far from boring and don’t let him hear you say that! and I’d rather have boring and productive than exciting and annoying. But that’s just me. He is off to a way better start to his career than TO (though all passing stats have a huge * now).

For all the talk of being ELi being so awful, he really doesn’t like that much worse than he ever was. He was never a great qb. He got hot a couple of times and played with a really good defense. Barkley has a chance to be the best rb in the nfl. If the Giants are smart, they will tank and get the guy from Oregon. Because Barkley is amazing.

I played receiver but man, they are the worst. All about them. Plus, how many of these elite receivers actually win? I also blame the media because they devote so much time to a ? like this but ignore guys like AJ Green and Davante Adams.

I agree McCoy is a stud. But he is 30+, has a high price tag, and guilty or not, seems to have a lot of baggage with him. I don’t think teams value him as high as we might as Bills fans. I also feel that since the one position the Bills seem to do well as finding is rbs, we should get an asset for him while we can. i know the Bills are stuck in the 50s with their way of thinking. But a 4th could be used for a receiver or linemen. That said, I hope they aim high but I think their leverage is limited. And it’s not a knock on McCoy who is one of the best rbs in his generation.

I want to and I think I will give him 2 years. But as someone who I think was extremely flawed and picked by a regime that makes a lot of bad offensive decisions, it’s hard to blindly trust them. i hate this feeling. But as someone who supported EJ, JP, and Trent until the end and overlooked many warning signs, when is it enough time?
