EJ was going in the 2nd at the latest (Chip Kelly was a big fan). Its ironic you bash Nix/ Whaley for EJ when they traded down, picked up a 2nd that turned into Kiko (runner up DROY and then traded for the very Shady McCoy). But clearly, the guy who threw for under 2,000 and 58% in the MWC is clearly superior to the 70% passer in the ACC. i think with guys like EJ and Allen (who is a mid round project who got bumped up as well) their development is going to make or break them.

Brandin Cooks Signs New Deal With Rams
C.Biscuit97 replied to thebandit27's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
PM and I will gladly take that bet. and Sammy made the playoffs and was on the highest scoring team in the nfl. The Bills defied all logic and had a painful offense to make the playoffs. We deserve it but let’s not pretend like Sammy won’t have been a huge upgrade to our non threatening receiving core. -
Should We Make a Run @ Le'Veon Bell in 2019?
C.Biscuit97 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was hyperbole but given what Bell wants, it may not be that far off. -
Sure buddy. Alabama is a rigorous institution, especially for football players. Denial isn’t just a river in Egypt apparently.

Alabama isn’t interested in giving football players the chance for the best education. I’d love for a Bama player to tell Saban he wants to be pre- med.

Haha, this would be such a Bills move. Pay $20 million/ year for a rb in a passing league who is one strike away from a year long suspension. i always favor the players getting every cent they can. But because of his position and suspensions, Bell has no leverage. He is probsbly going to lose a lot of money by not signing that deal. Pittsburgh might have the most talented roster but guys like Bell and Brown are completely selfish (I don’t fully blame them) and it is hurting them. -
LeSean McCoy allegations

I’ve been on vacation. Something happen with McCoy? -
I think you overestimate how much these coaches value players, especially non studs. I didn’t play college football at Alabama but I’ve seen first hand how coaches just move the practice up 10 yards when a player gets hurt. In what other business are millionaires not required to play their employees nothing? Why are Tebow and Newton not allowed to profit off their jersey sales when they are in college? i don’t know that right system but college football is completely corrupt.

Brandin Cooks Signs New Deal With Rams
C.Biscuit97 replied to thebandit27's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah clearly Sammy sucks. The Rams tried to sign him, then KC did for $16 million, & the Rams immediately traded a 1st for Cooks. Clearly, Sammy didn’t matter in their eyes. I’m much more happy with our dangerous wrs. -
Says a guy who wasn’t making millions of dollars for his school. Saban has complete power over his players because he can determine if they play enough to make it to the next level. And if they blow out their knee and that never happens, no one cares.

Didn’t we have a bet about EJ? It’s funny that this horrible qb beat out former board favorites like Connor Cook and Christian Hackenberg. 1) his OC and qb coach was Nate Hackett, who never coached at the pro level and biggest claim to fame was being the OC for Cuse in the Pinstripe Bowl 2) in his first start, he threw 2 tds and left the field with the lead against NE. How many Bills qbs have done that? 3) he got benched for a spineless coward, who “won” games without scoring tds. 4) when he was competing for his career inBuffalo, he had like a 155 q.b rating in the preseason. 5). When he was the worst qb ever and was going to be out of the nfl, he beat out Connor Cook for a backup job. 6) he had a much better college career than Josh Allen. yup, EJ was probsbly overdrafted. He does play mechanically. But his development here was a complete joke and if the Bills do the same with Allen, he will suffer the same fate. But the guy isn’t close to as bad as some of you want to make him out to be and he keeps winning jobs and collecting nfl checks. Benching a 2nd year qb at 2-2 is almost as bad as benching your starting qb during a playoff race and a rookie throwing 5 ints in a half. Almost. The only franchise worse at developing qbs than the Bills are the Browns. We are a joke in that regards.

Dareus charged in lawsuit with sexual assault
C.Biscuit97 replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True. I’ve heard the horror stories of coaches who don’t win. College football fans are insane. -
That alone is why America is both the best and worst country in the world. Who honestly listens to anything Skip Bayless says?

Wow, autocorrect is drunk early today! The 49ers (called out Garcia all the time and said he was gay) and the Eagles coming off a SB. I actually used TO to write a psych profile on him. If you know about his childhood, he was super insecure. Dude is a freak athlete but seems to have never been to escape that insecurity. My god, he still wants to play in the nfl. He’s like a Kardashian.

In terms of just football, I think Ray Lewis had a much bigger impact on the nfl and won 2 SBs. TO Alamogordo single handedly destroyed 2 good football teams by himself. And I watched most of the Bills getting inducted. I’ve never got to the actual ceremony but the HOF is an awesome place to visit. I think the reason he gets live here is because this was one of the few teams he didn’t rip apart. It’s just ironic you talk about leadership and TO in the same sentence.
