  1. Bill, he was a top prospect who struggled at Bama. He then was the runner up as for the Heisman and nfl mvp. Maybe the guy is turning into the top prospect in the country he always was. as for the sec vs Big 12 thing, I’d take Oklahoma qbs all day over Bamas. as a skeptic of Allen, bringing up his college passing % at this point would be insanely idiotic. After like 3 years, it might be time to turn the page of Hurts career at Bama when he was 19, which was so bad!!! He won sec player of the year! Maybe the guy who is constantly on winning teams, finishing 1st or 2nd for major awards might just be really good.
  2. You sensitive baby. It was a general comment about how things when things make too much sense in the nfl, they never happen. Our rbs are fine but Cook has never had a lot of Carries, Harris is one dimensional, and Hines is a gadget guy. Dillion in this team would be a monster and GB could move him since they have Jones. Stop making up outrage. also, you are completely wrong about the FO not investing draft capital in rbs. They invest fairly him picks in rbs in back to back year and spend good FA money on Hines/ Harris. So you are 100% wrong. dillion would probably cost less in a trade than Singletary or Cook and is the much better all around back. I like the players individually but I do think it makes the offense somewhat predictable. The best case is Cook becomes the main guy because he is the most versatile. but in a perfect world, after investing high picks on 2 rbs, it would be nice to have a guy and then the change of pace/ backup types.
  3. Fair points but Joe Burrow threw for less yards and more ints than tds, scoring less points (with better receivers imo) against the same cbs in the afc title game. Hurts outplayed the best qb in football in the SB He definitely needs to prove it again but based on how he has improved every year, I have no reason to doubt him. Bills fans get mad that Josh Allen doesn’t get enough credit so they just trash every other young qb. It’s weird.
  4. I can definitely see the Bengals taking a step back because that division is going to be a female dog. I also would hammered the over 8 wins for the Jets. And as much as I want home field advantage, with how the Bills play, is it really that much of an advantage? We aren’t a great running team, have a smallish defense, and fast receivers. It might be an advantage to play on the road 😛
  5. Milano is really, really good. But I think Bills fans have lost their minds on Edmunds. Obviously, we weren’t matching that contract but it’s wild to act like the guy was some bum and didn’t help this defense. He’s one of the better pass coverage MLBs in football and for as terrible as he was (I know you aren’t saying that but some act like it), we had top 3 defenses consistently while he was here. MLBs deserve a bunch of credit for that. I think Bills fans are going to be in for a bit of an awakening if this defense slips this year. I think the pass defense should be really good but it will be how we hold up against the run with what has to be one of the smallest groups of LBs in the nfl.
  6. I like cook and Harris but I’ll be honest, I’m so sick of this committee approach to rb. I want to have a 3 down rb. Dillion would be a monster next to Allen. And it makes a ton of sense for GB to get valid for him before it completely tanks. but since it makes sense, it won’t happen.
  7. I really like Herbert but the hype went crazy. He might be the least criticized qb in the nfl. If Hurts or a lot of qbs collapsed like the Chargers did in their playoff game, they would be ripped apart all off-season. chargers have a long history of big stat qbs which really amounts to nothing. Herbert is good but he gets way too much of a pass (qb pun 😉).
  8. Also, the eagles were one of the gray first half teams of all time. They would jump out to huge leads and just run the ball in the second half. Hurts didn’t get s chance to stay pad like some do. Allen is obviously the better and more established qb but Hurts reminds me so much of him, though they came into college with much different hype. Both doubted a ton, even by their own fanbases, and have made themselves into legit top 5ish nfl qbs. They both deserve a ton of credit.
  9. So was Josh Allen. Hurts was like the number 1 recruit in the country. So his talent has been known. dude got benched for Tua and a lot of guys would sulk and blame other people. He was a great teammate, helped them win a championship, and nearly won at a Heisman at Oklahoma. every thing you hear about him is how great of guy he is and how hard of a worker. He has gotten better ever year. He is so much like Allen, it’s scary. The Eagles would also kill teams by halftime so his stats could have been even better. In the garbage nfc, the Eagles have as good of shot to win the SB as any team in the nfl and hurts is a major reason why. Why are so hung up on the Alabama thing? He transferred, completed nearly 70% of his passes, and had 32 tds at Oklahoma. How were Joe Burrows stats at Ohio State before he played with one of the greatest receiver groups in college football history at LSU? some guys just get better.
  10. Laughing at someone dying isn’t very righteous Saint Warcodered. Glasshouses little bro.
  11. The release if we can’t trade him are hilarious. On paper, seems like a great guy to kick the tires on. But the. You release Baylor receivers never really learned route trees and played in a gimmick system. minus Garret Wilson (who’s a stud), Jets are almost as bad as the Pats at finishing wrs
  12. Welcome to life I’m sure the hottest girl in Ohio will be fine. But I will let her know you stood up for her.
  13. Or bills players? Or people you like? No offense but… respectfully. You can say whatever you want if you open and close the sentence like that.
  14. Don’t want to victim shame but I’d be mad if that was hottest girl in my state. Ohio ain’t Cali but there has to be more. and Von definitely was with that girl. Athletes, especially football players, have awful taste in women.
  15. https://www.cleveland.com/browns/2023/07/browns-release-perrion-winfrey-after-incident-he-reportedly-threatened-a-woman-with-a-gun-tuesday-night.html perfect example of not knowing the whole story. Dude has major issues on and off the field. Aaron Donald would struggle to keep his job with all this. Much less a 4th rounder.
  16. Agree with the injuries. But I’m a league where Goff, Cousins, Jimmy G, Tannehill, carr, etc. get big money, somehow Jackson isn’t worth it? Weird
  17. Fans are such hypocrites. I won’t want Watson either but I guarantee there have been other Browns players who have done plenty of awful things too that they overlooked. I mean Watson is terrible but I’m not sure how you can argue he shouldn’t be cut. At the very least, Watson allegedly wasn’t threatening violence
  18. But it would save trend on their tires. See what Wisconsin does to its rbs. Ron Dayne had 1220 Carrie’s before he took a nfl snap!
  19. I highly doubt any team would touch him. He got a lot because of his last name but he does have legit talent. Let’s just say he isn’t exactly a rocket scientist. I’m sorry you couldn’t get into Canisius. My condolences. 😞
  20. What was Peyton Manning’s record before he won a SB? Or Stafford’s? jackson also had like 500 yards in a playoff loss. Fans really don’t understand how a 25 year old quarterback with 45-16 record (they went 8-4 with him last year and 2-3 without him), a 96.7 qb rating, who has accounted for 17,000 total yards and 125 total TDs in 5 seasons got paid a lot of money???? this disrespect Jackson gets here is wild. But of course some posters went crazy about Mahomes throwing ints in training camp practice so that’s par for the course. Yeah, I would be thrilled with 15 tds passes for $40 million!!! Can’t believe rbs are made about what they are making when scrub qbs who’s main selling point is they weren’t as awful as they had been for a year get that much money. Jones is clearance rack dollar store Josh Allen.
  21. This is completely wrong. Tannehill is a product of Henry. See his numbers before and after he got to Tennessee. There is not a single team that plays Tennessee who thinks we can’t let Tannehill beat us. It’s always about Henry. Henry deserves to make more money than Tannehill. He is their offense. Rbs should be able to enter the draft as soon as possible.
  22. Are fans really still this naive? Some people don’t realize that the more valuable you are, the more leeway you have? Why do you think Big Ben got so many chances? Or every politician? its bs but that’s the way things go. If Josh Allen (he won’t because he’s a saint) gets accused like Watson, think he’s getting cut? Meanwhile, Boogie is cut that day
  23. Now do wrs. How many top 5 ones have won SBs? You could probably do this for most positions besides qbs.
  24. Because he won a MVP and wins 70% of his starts. and Jones averages 15 td passes and 9 ints. It’s a joke he makes that much. At least Carr has put up good numbers.
  25. I was trying to compare it to a real world job scenario that you could understand. But this is where the salary cap in the nfl hurts players. They are slotted by position but not actual value to the team. If everything is equal, who would giants fans say is more a valuable player - Jones or Barkley? If there was no salary cap or slotting, the Giants won’t have to play Jones as much and could pay Barkley more. But no team wants to be the one that resets the market of a position.
