  1. Oh, I watched plenty of Dak last season and I saw alot of his numbers come when the game was already decided. Maybe it is you that needs to have watched more Prescott because the guy really isn't anything special whatsoever. Allen has a better chance at becoming special than Dak ever will. Calling him a top 10 QB is based solely on numbers, and when you dive into how those numbers were produced, it tells quite the story...one that backs up many who just don't see greatness when they watch this guy play. Dallas will fail to make the playoffs again next season and Dak will bear the brunt of the blame, which he will most likely deserve.
  2. Bills should dump Murphy and offer him a one year deal and chance to showcase himself with a promise they will let him go to free agency. He would absolutely flourish on this defense and make himself alot of money
  3. Should be fun to see how this pans out for them, and how McD decides to gameplan for Cam should he be healthy and not drive Belicheat nuts. I think there's alot that can make this a bad move for them, but even if he does manage to be their QB and play effectively, I like our chances against them and for the division. Bring it on..
  4. Dak did what he usually does and padded his stats late when game was already decided. He was not good whatsoever in that game
  5. I really wish this article was on a piece of paper so I could wipe my ass with it
  6. Haven't chimed in yet. Read alot and thought about this for a bit. I absolutely believe this "friends" intentions were not pure, and I imagine this comes from a place of hate in her heart. Secondly...I do believe this is largely a big nothing burger, except because of the circumstances in this country right now which has turned something that seemed like poor taste in a private joke into something that can damage him and possibly ruin his career should the Bills cut him and thus he becomes toxic, where nobody can touch him. I can only trust and hope coach and Beane truly take the teams temperature on this, and if it appears to be an issue then unfortunately I would say he should go. At this point, I only care how it affects the team. I don't like any of the outcomes TBH and think it stinks all around.
  7. At least this protects the Bills if he does end up being a turd that can't get his act together. Really hope he does, though.
  8. I wasn't even familiar with the guys stance on him, but got that sense reading his first post in this thread.
  9. I said this when I watched his game film...in fact I said just that in the draft thread about him. Love what this kid is gonna add to our offense...
  10. I certainly think it was a big contributing factor. He may have also not have been happy with the scheme...the team being not very good, and he maybe didn't dedicate himself completely. Either way this situation is better on numerous levels for him, so I definitely think he will be the starter opposite Tre...so long as his athleticism is where it needs to be.
  11. Looks like the league has a vested interest in keeping this team in the conversation amongst the better teams in the league. Hopefully the Bills keep them below them in the standings
  12. I was hoping someone would simply post a summary since there's no way I am clicking the link.
  13. Sure thing, thread police?? Maybe you missed the rest of my response where I still questioned that reasoning.
  14. it seems completely ridiculous, and not some kind of mistake. Most of the world can see that the Patriots aren't going to be a very exciting team, and probably a middling team at best. Makes me think there's more going on here
  15. I guess that's solid logic, although I'm not sure how large that market will be without Brady, and I don't know how much people will care for them...especially if they lose alot. What you said at the end of the first paragraph is what has me slightly concerned..."if they are good, it'll be a super hyped storyline". Maybe the league plans on still pushing the Pats? One thing we can agree on is that we need to take care of business
  16. This raises my eyebrows and makes me wonder if the league still plans on making them a relevant team. No reason why they should be getting these marquee games given they have no players fans want to see and a not good offense.
  17. He got schooled on special teams this past season, and Brady took the D apart in week 16 when he could've finished the Pats ourselves. I don't see McD anywhere close to BB in terms of coaching skills, but he's a good coach that should learn and improve with more time and experience, but I can't be convinced he outcoached BB whatsoever. We've had a superior roster and should've been able to win if that was the case.
  18. I think Belicheck will be able to beat the bad to average teams just due to his coaching. Don't think he can make up the difference though against above average good teams with his current roster.
  19. I won't say they will be good, but I think they could be 8-8 or possibly 9-7. The defense will carry the load while the offense will try to grind out points. New England has done a fantastic job utilizing their backs in the pass game and that is very helpful to a young QB. I can see them playing small ball and letting the defense hold up...alot like this Bills team of the past few seasons. Also, you cannot discount McDaniels and Belicheck being able to outcoach their opponents. McDermott has never been able to match wits with Billy. I think it's foolish to make a definitive statement for either side, but to say they won't be a good team is something I'm not ready to write off.
  20. Not really a hole, but could use upgrades at LT, LG, and RT. RT may be improved...LT and LG will not be.
  21. He would need to play with a great coach and system that tailors to his game perfectly and playing in fair weather conditions would also help. I don't think he's getting any of that in Buffalo
  22. I just see him as a similar version of Barkley where his arm just won't cut it in Buffalo. You can only play the screen game/dink and dunk for so long, and this Oline doesn't get outside the hashes well enough to do it successfully even with Allen so consider me highly skeptical. Getting drafted in Buffalo hurts him if he actually ends up having to play, I think. If he played for a dome team like NO or ATL, I think he'd have a better shot.
