  1. Division rivals don't just roll out the red carpet for the other to get into the playoffs so that they might have the chance to beat them later on. Whether the starters play or not, the Steelers will get a Baltimore team that will be prepared and ready to give them all they can handle next week in their own building
  2. 1. CMC 2. Allen 3. Hill 4. LJ 5. Purdy
  3. What's also funny is that nobody was pushing for LJ as MVP until lastnighta game. Purdy implodes, and now LJ vaults into frontrunner for MVP? Again, he had a fine game, but this wasn't him delivering a signature performance to beat Purdy and the Niners...Purdy ***** the bed, and SF never got their offense going. Most of the credit here should go to the Ravens defense, with LJ complimenting it and taking advantage of the numerous times he was given great field position. It's just strange that the guy that nobody was talking about because his numbers weren't there suddenly is the favorite because of this one game where the defense was clearly the catalyst and Jackson himself just played his part. I really don't understand how this game suddenly vaults him to the top. If you wanna say we should start taking him as a serious MVP candidate now, I'm OK with that. Bottom line is that Josh should be right there with anyone, but needs to win out with at least 500 more pass yards and at least 5 more TD's to legitimately win
  4. The RAVENS stomped the best team on the road...not just Lamar. That's why their defense has been top notch all season and Lamar has mediocre to good numbers. He has complimented the defense very well this season. Lamar didn't outduel Brock Purdy in a battle that showcased who the better QB was...Purdy imploded and the Ravens capitalized on turnovers and great field position. Lamar had a fine game, but this wasn't a demonstration as to how high of a level Lamar Jackson was on. The Niners did everything they could to hand Baltimore the win, and even with all those turnovers, Lamar didn't close the door and the defense had to get yet another INT late to seal it. Josh has 16 more TD's than Lamar and is accounting for 83% of his teams touchdowns, while LJ is at 55%. If Josh plays well and the Bills beat Miami after Baltimore beats them and they get the two seed, it would be criminal to give Lamar the MVP over Josh
  5. Keyshawn Johnson has some of the most trash takes you will hear or see on television, and that's saying quite a bit with what is on nowadays. This particular take though seems like it may have a racial component to it for Keyshawn. The media hate and reluctance to ever give Josh his due kind of reminds me of a man that the media vilified for years and told you he would start WW3 and that anyone who thought that man was good was not good for democracy. Hopefully the voters don't fall for the media narrative that comes from a place of prejudice in the case of personalities like KJ, Nick Wrong, and Skip Bayless
  6. I can get behind CMC or Hill as MVP this year, but I do think Allen has to be in the convo should the Bills win out and Allen balls out
  7. Shanahan buying into the Purdy hype and not realizing that McCaffrey is the heart and soul of their offense It backfired tonight
  8. Purdy is the product of a Shanahan offense with tremendous weapons including CMC, who drives this offense and opens it up for everyone He can be very good, but he's definitely not a guy that can put the team on his back and get you a win Top teams have the ability to expose him and really make the Niners look beatable
  9. The Lamar Jackson for MVP talk is a joke The Ravens had been led by their defense for the most part all year, and Jackson's numbers are pedestrian in comparison to Allen Just make it the QB on the team with the best record award if you wanna give it to Lamar
  10. People seem to forget Mahomes before he got the super bowls and how much of a baby/drama queen he was. This is always who he's been...it just hasn't showed because he's had the luxury of being the darling of the league and has constantly won.
  11. Put me down as a CMC for MVP guy if it's not Josh He is the heartbeat and the engine for that SF team You take him out of their lineup, and it changes everything
  12. Josh just can't do that stuff at this point in the season in a close game
  13. These guys look totally unprepared and disinterested Back to the bad Bills
  14. The home team came out fired up and they are getting some home cooking Bills have to weather the storm and get their act together The Raiders shredded these guys. They can get back in it in a hurry
  15. Massive hold on the LT WTF
  16. The drops are absolutely his fault Besides that, he's correct that teams have figured out how to keep him relatively quiet, and that the team has looked to involve the other players a bit more. It only matters if we aren't scoring and aren't winning
  17. These dopes are always prisoners of the moment and almost always look like fools. It's like when every "expert" does their pre game picks and they all pick the same team and then they lose. Dallas is the team that always blows it at the most inopportune times, and I think they are flying a bit too high right now being that they really haven't beaten anyone besides a bad Eagles defense that everybody has put points on.
  18. It's definitely a plus if the Bills can focus pretty much solely on the Dallas passing game. You would think we should be able to generate some pressure and get Dak off of rhythm and timing, but who knows
  19. They really haven't beaten anybody besides the Eagles at home, and that Eagles defense is near bottom of the league in nearly every category. I think there's a chance that they aren't quite what they are being hyped up as, and we take it to them. Being at home definitely helps, also That being said...they also could quite possibly light our defense up and Parsons wreaks enough havoc to keep us from sticking with them
  20. Another thing no one mentions is that Mahomes didn't go ballistic until they failed on their subsequent downs...then he lost it. So if he would've managed to deliver in the chances he had after that call, he wouldn't have made a big deal about it. Mahomes is a fraud, and more and more people will start to see it as things don't go his way.
  21. I was on the record when Dhop was available that we should've moved Gabe and signed Hopkins. Big-time missed opportunity that was. Now you let him walk and hope he nets us a comp pick at best
  22. This is the best possible scenario for the Bills, and it explains alot in regards to him. I didn't believe he was not one of the top 3 or 4 DB's on this team, and I refused to go along with the sentiment on this board that he was a bust. He looked too much like he belonged last season for him to be not worthy to play on gamedays. Now I believe we know why. Lots of posters here should be embarrassed about their trash takes on the kid and their willingness to dump him
  23. Problem with this is that Toney was not lined up anywhere near the outside for the refs to afford him the courtesy that they sometimes do with wide outs on the outside near them
  24. Way to show good sportsmanship to Allen by crying about the refs instead of congratulating him. Punk move by a punk QB that is a drama queen
  25. Only when his team is winning and getting the favorable treatment from the refs...like the poster was saying
