This is true. Dorsey did turn out a pretty good game plan lastnight The execution wasn't there from the players, from the defense, and special teams...which is on McDermott
-
This makes alot of sense if you ask me. Something has been missing with this team, and the origin was likely 13 seconds. McDermott has since blamed everyone else and hasn't improved himself since, and the team hasn't looked the same since Daboll...despite last year's record that had alot to do with an easy schedule
-
Regular season wise, sure. This team has underperformed in the playoffs for years, and now they have failed miserably in the regular season. The Bills have been going backwards, and that is on McDermott
-
This team's problems go well beyond Dorsey. He wasn't responsible for 12 men on the field for that FG. This game shined an enormous spotlight squarely on McDermott, and they go and get rid of the OC. This will do nothing to change the direction this team is headed in. Maybe it helps Josh a bit, but not enough to fix this team and the issues in all three phases, plus coaching ineptitude.
-
I get what you're saying, but what about this team makes you think they will be good enough at any phase (coaching included) to make a run against the opponents we have upcoming? This team is better off if they decide to tear it down, as opposed to trying to backdoor their way into a WC spot

This team never makes a big stop

You have to hold the defense and the coach who is supposed to be a guru on that side to not let the Mac Jones of the world to march down the field when a stop wins the game. Bottom line is that Josh has done enough multiple times to set this team up to win with two minutes or less, and the defense folds. -

HC is a defensive guy, and he is also the DC Every game when all we need is a stop to win, the defense folds This is easy. Coach has to be held to account -
McDermott has ruined Josh Hopefully a new staff can put the pieces back together
-
Then he has officially lost the team The wheels have fallen off, and it's time for McD to face his failure
-
Gotta update my prediction in losses now figuring this one in Was 8-10 losses...now it's 9-11
-
We now have major issues in all three phases of our team This can only go back to the head coach for these failures
-
Season's over, my guy Make that make sense
-
This is truly pathetic Fighting for our season at home against Denver This is not the team I've come to know

National media are starting to grind their collective axes

We lashed out at the Nick Wrights and others for calling the Bills what they were...a team that just couldn't be relied upon to make good on the talent they have on their roster. They have been proven right IMO. 13 seconds was the beginning of the end for this current iteration of the Buffalo Bills. The only way Josh Alllen gets some more cracks at winning it all is with a completely revamped staff- 121 replies

Best post I've seen here in quite awhile We should've made the change last year, TBQH
-
Bottom line is we need an offensive minded coach with an innovative OC that will tailor an offense that best utilizes Allen's talent. The other option is to trade Allen and rid this team of overpriced veterans and aim to compete again in a few years if we manage to get a franchise QB again. I hate option two with a passion, but something has to give
-
Bills will miss the playoffs at 9-8. Maybe 8-9. No way should a prime Josh Allen team have less than double digit wins
-
I have routinely been told that it's not about McD being a super bowl caliber coach. It's that he's made this team a contender (more like pretender now) and that they would rather stick with him and never win a title then to stink again To me...that's the attitude of someone that is scared to challenge themselves and would rather play it safe and never reach their goals. Nobody should ever accept anything less than to strive for greatness. McD is settling for playoff exits and heartbreaking losses until he's gone
-
Coaching and systems matter, and that is why Burrow is more consistent Put Josh on Cincy with Zac Taylor, Mixon, Higgins, and Chase and they already win a SB
-
Their offensive system and weapons are better Josh has more ability than any QB in the league...maybe all time
-
This team is going to lose between 8-10 games We'll see how the McD supporters feel after that
-
What a poor decision from McD to not try a deep shot or something besides a give up down 14 to go into the half Another inexcusable decision by an awful gameday coach
-
It's as if the league doesn't want the game to be close. Make sure you jam the visiting team every chance you get
