Josh Allen's waning confidence and mental yips
BeastMaster replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall
My initial thought to this thread was to dismiss it as nonsense, but he has definitely had some head scratching INT's the past few games, and I do remember a time where he was afraid to make mistakes after screwing up earlier in his career. I don't necessarily think he's losing confidence, but he may get in his own head when things that normally work aren't. It's on the coaches to figure out what they need to do in order to have Josh feeling comfortable and playing like we know he can -
Division games are pretty darn important
-
Nobody showed up today besides maybe Von Miller...coaches included They should all be embarrassed
-
Hockensen is basically Dawson Knox There is no point unless you wanna run a 2TE offense

Poyer elbow injury (update: “day-to-day”)

I think with how this coaching staff has a knack for getting the most out of players in the secondary, that Abram would be worth a shot on if the cost was low (late rounder). -
The trash talk clearly got in the heads of Diggs and Davis...a guy who never talks trash. Coach needs to check both of them and remind them that they are professionals doing a job, and that you lose focus and composure when you engage in that garbage. Just go out and let your play speak for itself

I wonder if Xavier Rhodes would be a good fit at giving safety a shot? He's an experienced veteran that would probably benefit making such a move if he picked it up. -
I think Rodgers might not believe in this teams vision when it comes to roster construction, and how to build a winner. They have taken away from his weapons, and drafted his apparent replacement years before they should have. I would've asked to be traded long ago if I was him

It's obvious we have a better team I'll leave to others to figure out why it doesn't translate on the scoreboard -

Bills outplay KC again, but they manage to keep it tied. Coaching is the difference -

This coaching staff will ultimately fail Josh and this team I wish I didn't believe that statement FWIW -

This team has made a habit of careless mistakes so far this season -
CAR is high if they think they would even get a first rounder Not legitimately looking to trade if that is a serious report
-
He's gone for over 100 yards from scrimmage (rushing/receiving) in nearly every game He's the same player he's been when healthy in previous seasons As for that last part...I'd rather not gamble with an if in Cook when we can have a sure thing in CMC
-
It goes both ways Good players make others look better, too CMC might help do that
-
I don't think people fully understand how much of a weapon this guy would be with this offense, and this QB If Moss and a 3rd this year plus maybe a pick in 2024 gets it done, you do it.
-
So in other words...just find a freakish guy with length and quickness and we'll be fine? Sounds replaceable I'll take the guy with instincts and play making ability every time over a Tremaine Edmunds type FTR, I neither love or hate the guy. He's a middle of the road type player in my view. He has looked better this season FWIW
-
He's fragile, and weak armed. That means they really don't have a QB
