I think BTJ is more available than is being let on Teams that don't have a first round pick love to try and recoup if possible, and they have Hunter and now Meyers Bills should be aggressive on both Olave and BTJ

11/2/25 GAMEDAY Bills vs Chiefs 4:30pm Post Game Thread
BeastMaster replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fair, but we haven't thrived off of being the one seed and getting to coast/rest players and having one semi difficult home game to make it to the AFCCG like KC has This season is not going to play out the same way it has for the Chiefs previously Whether that means good things for us or not is to be determined -

Chiefs have had the massive advantage of a weak division and a first round bye for how many seasons previously? They are in major trouble and will not be anywhere near as healthy or rested when and if they make the playoffs It matters alot -

I don't know if I'd go that far. He made multiple mistakes that could've cost us the game -
Should've never brought the guy in as a possible starting solution. He was a Rams cast off that was slow, but Beane loves those guys Joshua Palmer was the same thing last offseason. Not even good enough for the Chargers to offer a contract, but good enough to be a starter for the Bills

Are McBeane secretly creating an elite offense?

Another case of stats do lie Data can be manipulated to fit whatever agenda you wanna push This passing game doesn't pass the eye test -
I'm pretty much right there with you Last season I felt like if there was a time for the Bills to get over the Chiefs hump it was then. They didn't, and everything since has left me uninspired. Free agency was disappointing to me, and I was not overly impressed with the draft either. The team has looked mediocre at best most of the year, and watching Vrabel in his rookie season with the Pats hand McDermott his behind at home was about as depressing as it gets I decided I wasn't buying Sunday Ticket for the first time in forever, and I took a wait and see approach on planning a trip to Buffalo to see them when I go every year for sure I think the only thing that pulls me back in is if McDermott is relieved of his duties, and that won't happen unless he fails miserably this season (possible). I'm a fan and always will be, but my emotional and financial investment isn't what it was and it won't change until I feel as if the organization is doing everything it can to support Josh Allen and get him a real shot at winning a ring.

Joe B (The Athletic) on passing game problems (with data)
BeastMaster replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thinking Palmer is going to be our savior is only going to lead to disappointment He was another Beane bust free agent signing that wasn't worth anywhere close to what he got I agree that Bradys offense is partly to blame, but a true threat at wideout will make a huge difference BTJ, Olave, or Shaheed would all massively improve our passing game and help Josh immensely. All are available in trade. Beane needs to admit his mistake and get one of these guys -
It does explain it if he's trying to do something that isn't in his nature...which would include being a game manager if you ask me Josh needs to be Josh. Any other version of him will not be what he's supposed to be, and it might look like he has looked these past few games

Forcing Turnovers is the missing ingredient in this Defense
BeastMaster replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh, my goodness Every team that's struggling can say their missing ingredient is forcing turnovers I'd say a third of it is luck, another third is scheme and talent, and the last third is simply luck You're better off relying on trying not to turn over the ball instead of taking it away cause that's more within your control -
Jags listening to trade calls for Brian Thomas
BeastMaster replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane will never do a deal like this after the Diggs trade and the little tirade he had when he was questioned about the WR room that off season He would have to own up to his failure to get Josh a premier wideout that he should absolutely have -

He looks like the guy I saw on tape at LSU I was very surprised when he took off last season, but now he's back to being exactly what some scouts and myself saw It's very strange -
My view on the Bills Defensive Problems
BeastMaster replied to Cheektavegas Charlie's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermotts defense has always been a complete doormat once they face a legitimate offense and QB in the playoffs This isn't going to change until he changes -
McDermott never lets the branches get long enough to find out what they could potentially become He sacrifices them to preserve himself
-
The QB is always a reflection of his coach I have no doubt that McDermott has influenced him, and not in a positive fashion when it comes to his mentality as a football player It's to the point now where I feel as if it's damn near criminal what this organization has made Josh deal with, and if he ever voices his displeasure or asks to be moved, I would completely understand it and support him because he's been done no favors by McDermott or Beane
