The Patriots had an incredible amount of cap space and they knew Mack Hollins was a valuable piece for us They were always going to outbid us for his services. It was up to Hollins to decide if he wanted to stay with the Bills or go to the highest bidder It would have stupid for Beane to get in a bidding war for him with a team that had basically unlimited cap space The Bills sometimes bet on their culture to win out and get guys to return for less than they can potentially get on the open market. Hollins didn't buy into it Simple as that

Turd or not, there still may have been some legitimate gripes...as evidenced by his current success and our lack there of I think he's a headcase, too. This doesn't mean he's not right about certain things he notices. He's a smart player and has a competitive fire that burns hot. It'll be fascinating to see what the Pats are going to do with him after the season because he will want that last big deal and with that comes possible problems
-
Maybe it was because he saw that Joe Bradys offense wasn't going to be very friendly to him and thought he was better utilized elsewhere Looks as if he was right

Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good

There's alot of reason as to why they've managed to win 9 out of 11 games, and while they should get credit for it, you also have to look at how lucky it's been, and how lucky it's going to continue to be They will get Cincy without Burrow, but he'll be back to play us. We gave them the game in Buffalo with self inflicted, bonehead turnovers. The Jets had every opportunity to win lastnight had they resembled even a glimpse of a passing game. I'm not impressed, and I'm certainly not bowing at the alter of the almighty Cheatriots until they prove they can not just win the division, but win playoff games, and then repeat it the next season with a first place schedule...you know, like we have the last five seasons -
Peyton Manning joins Josh Allen to help Buffalo break curse
BeastMaster replied to Bill51390's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is the burial ground on the new stadium lot? That's the only way the curse gets lifted -
Remember those passes to Shakir where he was in open field that he turned into massive gains/TD's? He's also been neutered by Joe Brady and his weak passing offense
-
Josh needs an elite coach to reinvigorate him and get the best from him Our current coaches are sucking the enjoyment out of football for him

Can anyone behin to imagine the pressure of being anointed the savior of this franchise and going through grueling losses in the regular season, to the postseason, and maybe the worst defeat ever in the 13 sec game Imagine year after year of this. Then imagine marrying a Hollywood starlet and then her speaking on their marriage to the media while dealing with what was mentioned above You've also seen how he's gone Hollywood as well...doing commercials out the wazoo while trying to be a great husband and stay at the absolute peak of his craft I'd say he's burned the F out and can't maintain his level of play week in and week out. Especially with a bad defense and a coaching staff that fails year in and year out when it matters most
-
You're kidding me, right? Tyler Warren > Kincaid Pittman Jr > Palmer/Coleman Alec Pierce > Samuel/Shavers Shakir maybe slightly better than Downs I'll take Indys receivers over ours all day every day

Mecole Hardman, Come on Down! (Signed to Practice Squad)
BeastMaster replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
The difference is one is young and has been effective recently Hardman has done nothing for a few seasons now and might be cooked I'm not against giving him a shot, though -
Mecole Hardman, Come on Down! (Signed to Practice Squad)
BeastMaster replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not the worst addition to the practice squad He's a speed merchant that could possibly draw coverage on deep outs -
I tend to believe Gabe is cooked Knee and ankle injuries have taken a toll Hopefully he's good enough to run deep routes to draw coverage
-
And that would go a long way with a guy like Allen who values that type of mentality
-
The Giants were a dumpster fire He now has that experience that he can learn from on a much better team with a top QB, RB, and Oline that he also has familiarity with I think he has the qualities that makes guys wanna play for him and his go out and play loose philosophy also works well with Josh and this team There's concerns, but strong coordinators would make me feel comfortable giving him a shot. I do think he has the best quality in a head coach which is that you are respected and players wanna play for you
-
I could get on board with Daboll as HC if he brings strong coordinators on both sides with him
-
Even more reason for Terry to force it on McDermott The HC has not had his team ready to play in numerous games this year and he's on the hook for both of the hires of coordinators that are both busts Send the message that his seat is hot and that he doesn't get to reject the addition of Daboll to the team in whatever capacity he and the team decide on

11/9/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Dolphins Post Game Thread
BeastMaster replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Here's the thing as far as criticism towards Josh goes He's coached by an OC that seems to be out of answers when it comes to figuring out the pass game He has a head coach that did not have his team ready to play and once again coached spineless punting on a 4th and inches Has a bunch of JAGS to throw to and lost his best receiver who is a TE Has to help out a defense that just isn't up to the task at this point Can you really blame Josh with all this going on? The guy is carrying an enormous burden that he shouldn't have to If he had some help and he was playing poorly, I'd criticize him He is not in an envious position right now -
No, thanks Let's bench this coaching staff and GM and give Josh some life The next coach here will have to reignite the fire in Josh to get his absolute best
-
So while there is alot of truth in the OP, there are some things that weren't mentioned One thing I'd like to point out is that while there are owners that only care to make money and aren't overly concerned with winning, there are others that care quite a bit. Then there's others that don't like having a team that is ridiculed and mocked for being bad/sucking Say what you will about Terry Pegula, but the man has spent money with the intention of having a quality franchise that competes for a championship every season. The man is a lot of things, but he's not content with letting the Bills circle the drain
-
If they ran a fake screen to Shakir next game, it would probably go for a TD
-
He's not BBB anymore He's TBB

I remember just a few years ago I was seeing Pats gear...you know, when they were winning I imagine I'll start seeing it again soon -
Cause their offense was busy scoring points mostly They are obviously well coached and Spags gets as much out of them as he can, but they aren't world beaters. Their record despite their high powered passing offense is proof that they are not what they once were on that side of the ball

11/9/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Dolphins Post Game Thread

Hollins is absolutely better than Palmer There is zero evidence of Josh Palmer being anything but a JAG Hollins hasn't done a whole lot either, but he's done more than Palmer and showed up in big moments Palmer got shelved on the Chargers and got injured here after a bunch of games where he was mostly a non factor -
The Chiefs aren't a powerhouse...especially on defense KC is a very flawed team that has a weak Oline, mediocre running backs, and a mediocre defense. The difference is Reid and Spagnola are elite at what they do
